Years apart. The location is great, everything we need is there. The property manager’s made everything easy.

The room was perfect with a nice sea view balcony. The location was very good, half a minute to the sea and the restaurants and supermarket. The staff were very nice and kind.

From friendly hosts, comfortable and clean rooms and an entire dog friendly park at the back of the motel - the entire experience was a great one!

Boasting sea views, Port Levy B & B Christchurch features accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a shared lounge, around 45 km from Christchurch Railway Station. Everything was perfect. Peaceful and private location with stunning views. A garden full of interesting and colourful plants. The spa pool overlooking the sea is heavenly. Hosts Martin & Verity are warm, welcoming and chatty without being intrusive. Verity’s amazing artwork and sculptures are on display in the house and her studio. And these 2 can cook up a storm. Our 3 course dinner was just beautiful and had the presentation of a top restaurant. Effort was also made with the ambience - soft lighting, elegant table setting and relaxing music. Breakfast was fit for a king and so much of the food was hand made and sourced fresh from their own property. Lovely places to sit and take in the views. Small private beach to enjoy.

Situated in Akaroa and only 1.8 km from Akaroa Beach, Cherrywood Cottage features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Peaceful location with stunning views. Even though it was the middle of summer, Akaroa experienced a cold snap during our stay so the fireplace was welcomed. Cottage was immaculately clean and well equipped.

Boasting garden views, Akaroa Central Apartment is set in Akaroa, around 200 metres from Akaroa Beach. This apartment features free private parking and private check-in and check-out. Excellent location. Wonderful views. Very spacious and comfortable apartment.

Located in Little River in the Canterbury region, Snowberry Cottage at Lochsloy Farm Little River has a garden. The property features lake views. Guests can make use of barbecue facilities. No I provided my own meal. Owner made cookies which was thoughtful.

Featuring a garden and views of sea, French Bay House is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Akaroa, 600 metres from Akaroa Beach. The property features mountain and garden views. This hotel was a great find and in a perfect location. Jacqui was a wonderful hostess, with nothing too much trouble and great to chat with. The whole place was spotless and comfortable, very homely and breakfast was excellent and just enough to set us up for the day ahead. We loved our stay and will be back.
