In a prime location in the Aoi Ward district of Shizuoka, HOTEL OLE INN is located 19 km from Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival, less than 1 km from Shizuoka Station and 12 km from Shimizu Station. It is a new hotel, about 10 minutes of easy walk from the Shizuoka station. Everything was nice and clean, the room was spacious with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The buffet style breakfast was delicious, most of the main food was changing every day, so I never got bored of it during my 5-day stay. The beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows and the spa was great to unwind after a long day on foot. All in all it exceeded my expectations and I'd be happy to come back.

il azzurri, the Italian meaning of "deep blue," is a hotel which has all rooms with ocean view and open air-bath. This hotel is located at Nishi Izu-cho, well-known as the famous sunset view. We really enjoyed our stay - the resort had two onsens, plus footbaths near the free self-serve snack and drink bar overlooking the bay. Our room included a private balcony with a bath. The staff didn't speak much English, but were very friendly and helpful. Best stay during our two week trip. The hotel is located close to the Tombolo land bridge. If we ever return to this part of Japan, we would come here again.

The place is an ideal spot for a relaxing stay - it is beautifully located (the views are stunning!) and everything is perfectly arranged so that you can enjoy your holidays. There is an outdoor onsen (to be used privately by room), a swimming pool, a cosy lobby inside, electric bikes for rental etc. Add to that good breakfasts, exquisite dinners (to be ordered in advance) and very welcoming hosts and staff! Definitely a recommended place!

We had a very friendly and exceptionally helpful reception upon arrival by the owners of the property. The retreat hotel is very nice and comfortable, especially also the integrated sauna. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very also got great support for sightseeing at Mount Fuji and to take the train to our next destination.
