HOTEL OLE INN har en førsteklasses beliggenhed i Aoi Ward-kvarteret i Shizuoka, 19 km fra Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival, mindre end 1 km fra Shizuoka Station og 12 km fra Shimizu Station. I had a single room that was efficiently laid out. I appreciated the fan in the bathroom. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner were effective, easy to rinse off, and without a cloying, heavy perfume. The "cold box" appeared to need ice on one side and food on the other side. The pillows were comfortable. The staff were great at finding the perfect location for my room. I smoke and asked to be situated near a smoking "booth" - a small room with good airflow, ashtrays, and closed off so the smoke doesn`t get into the hallway. They put me across the hall from one of these rooms. All rooms are non-smoking, so I was glad to have convenient access to one of these special rooms. They are located on several floors. While smoking is frowned upon by most people, it is nice to know that smokers have a place to go and the smoke will not bother anyone else. Although I can speak a little Japanese, they quickly located a bilingual staff member to make communication easy. He even offered me his personal phone number in case of problems after he left (I thanked him but didn`t take it, as I think people should not be expected to work outside of their planned schedule). The rest of the staff used translation apps. The breakfast was incredible. It was a buffet with a wide range of food: I had salad, yogurt, dessert, bacon, eggs, miso soup, rice, curry, steamed dumplings, salmon, mackerel, fruit salad, and a variety of casseroles. The pork/tomato sauce/cheese casserole was especially tasty. This is only what I sampled - I avoid carbs and there were several containers with bread and similar items. Both times I had breakfast, I didn`t feel hungry again until dinnertime. I needed business documents completed and chose to do this at a quiet time the night before I left rather than at checkout time when the staff would be busy. They were surprised but completed the special forms at my request. The staff were cheerful and helpful.

Alle værelser har udsigt til bjerget😻Det er muligt at gå rundt om søen på ca. 45min (afhængigt af tempo og hvor mange stop man gør for at nyde udsigten🌞⛰️). Den mest vidunderlige onsen med udsigt til Fuji San kan benyttes de fleste af døgnets timer, og der findes massagestole i badearealet. Gratis koldt/varmt vand er ligeledes tilgængeligt i badet. Der er halvpension inkluderet i prisen, og maden er superlækker og varieret i en buffet, der gør det muligt at prøve forskellige lækre japanske specialiteter. Jeg tilkøbte en frokost i form af en udsøgt bentoboks med mange fine småretter. Værelser er bekvemme, med stole foran panoramavinduerne, hvorfra man ser direkte på Fuji-San. Endelig må personalet prises for deres altid venlige, hjælpsomme og opmærksomme behandling af gæsterne. Situated in Atami, 1.1 km from Atami Sun Beach, 熱海の隠れ里 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. I loved how spacious the rooms were and the ryokan vibe! The owner was super friendly and gave us many good tips! I would love to come back again.

Det 5-stjernede Pearl Star Hotel ATAMI ligger ud til stranden i Atami og har fitnesscenter, terrasse og restaurant. Great location to Atami Sun Beach, spacious, quiet and clean room, kind and hospitable staff members, delicious and fresh breakfast, and nice onsen with great view. Thank you for arranging many things so we could stay in Atami with awesome memories. I would like to visit again when Hamabi fireworks happen so we can enjoy from the balcony.

Gardenvilla Shirahama ligger lige ud til havet og tilbyder indkvartering med havudsigt og gratis trådløs internetadgang. A very very cute heart warming hotel ran by a family. Facilities they provided were great. They have 2 private onsen rooms as well.

Set in Fujinomiya, 43 km from Lake Kawaguchi, MUKUten舎富士宮 MUKUtensha Fujinomiya natural wood retreat hotel offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. We had a very friendly and exceptionally helpful reception upon arrival by the owners of the property. The retreat hotel is very nice and comfortable, especially also the integrated sauna. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very also got great support for sightseeing at Mount Fuji and to take the train to our next destination.
