Great staff, helpful, friendly, room perfect 4 poster room with lovely bathrooms, restaurant on site great, even with short notice for a family of six, breakfast lovely, nothing was ever to much for any member of staff, I think this hotel has it all perfect highly recommended if and when visiting the area would not think twice about booking here again, also great function room we used for a wedding just perfect well done to all the team at the Coach House Suffolk 11 out if 10 for our stay
It's the second time that we e visited this hotel, this year. We can park the car up and use the local buses which run on a good service. The staff are very friendly and try to accommodate all your needs. The room is very clean, a little small but well thought out for your needs. The breakfast was amazing and the choices really good. We had an evening meal there and it was lovely. The location is a good place to stop if you want to visit other parts of Norfolk and Suffolk too.
Aldeburgh
Great location - easy walk to the seafront and friendly neighbours. Off street parking good. Apartment itself was very spacious and clean. Well equipped and comfortable. Two supermarkets close by (+ a fantastic farm shop down the road) and easy access to rest of Suffolk. And we have to say Suffolk is lovely - nice wide but scenic roads. Framlingham Castle, RSPB Minsmere, Sutton Hoo and Orford Ness (make sure you book ferry in advance) are all well worth a visit.
The hotel was set in beautiful grounds, which made for a perfect getaway. It was also in a great location for accessing some of the best parts of Suffolk by car. The hotel itself was spacious, with plenty of areas outside and inside to sit and relax. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast, which was included with the booking, was excellent. The gym was absolutely superb with fantastic modern equipment and was just the right size for a hotel gym.
Grove Hotel is in a very convenient location on the A12 as it goes past Woodbridge, so it is easy to find and easy for onward travel to the Suffolk coast, Sutton Hoo, Ipswich or Norfolk. The rooms are regularly refurbished and well maintained. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have all the facilities you would expect. We particularly appreciated the fan in this summer's heatwaves. There was plenty of choice for breakfast.
I have stayed with you on many short breaks and the food is partly the reason I come. It continues to be the highlight for as restaurants go in Norfolk and Suffolk you have no peers in terms of the menu you offer. Chef David and his team have come up with a superb menu that works to perfection. The quality of the food is outstanding and outshines others of those in the Hotel group.
My room was comfortable, albeit a little warm at times. I found the food and the service in the restaurant very good. The food was nicely cooked. Throughout the hotel the Staff were curteous and helpful. Overall, I was pleased with my choice of the 'Hotel Victoria' as it served my purpose as a good base from which to explore the Suffolk coast.
The hotel is conveniently positioned on the main thoroughfare in Ipswich. Our aim was to explore some of the towns of Suffolk so there is no better place to base yourselves. It is 10 min walk from railway station, encircled with shops and has a very nice pub just next to it. We are returning guests and will be coming back whenever visiting Suffolk
Everything the hotel, staff, food everyone from the cleaners who make the hotel spotless, the reception staff always go out their way to welcome you, the chefs create the most amazing food, the serving staff cannot do enough. The amazing cocktails are a must. Our favourite place Barr going into London. The hidden gem of Suffolk.
The hotel was in a great location in Southwold which is a lovely, unspoilt coastal Suffolk town. The staff were really friendly, chatty and helpful. Apart from the first evening where we enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast, we ate out to enjoy other pubs and restaurants in Southwold, but the breakfasts were excellent.
Bury Saint Edmunds
The Old School House enabled my family (of several generations) to attend my Dad’s funeral in Suffolk without the need to stay in a hotel. It was very nice to all be together In relaxing surroundings and stay in a property which had character. It was also nicely located to walk into Bury St. Edmunds.
This is our favourite place to stay for special occasions. Staff are wonderful, providing the sort of understated, genteel hospitality which sets the Jockey Club Rooms apart from other high quality hotels in Suffolk. A hidden gem but ssh don't tell everyone about it!
A hotel with a real sense of luxury and ideally located in the heart of Southwold. An ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of Suffolk. The wonderfully furnished and equipped bedroom took my breath away.
Its is an exceptional hotel, a real hidden jewel in Suffolk. Made even better by the warm, friendly and attentive staff, but all that pales into significance when you encounter the fabulous cuisine
Location is excellent for exploring east Suffolk. The A12 is close by, yet it is very quiet. Apartment is very comfortable and airy, with lots of space to store things in bedroom. Good shower.
Lovely traditional hotel in a great location overlooking the sea in this charming spot in east Suffolk. Hotel is spotless, staff are friendly & welcoming. And the food is 5 star.
As previously reported the hotel is in the centre of the town close to bars and restaurants but also ideally placed for visits to the Suffolk coast and Constable country
Very comfortable and spacious accommodation Excellent food Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff Good location for visiting this part of Suffolk and the coast
Cosy quintessential Suffolk hotel with character and charm an absolute favourite of our family. Always made to feel welcome.
Lowestoft
