Loved the view from our room, the friendly staff and that we could bring our dog. The hotel is within easy walking distance of shops and cafes. Well run and good restaurant.

The location was fantastic just tucked behind the high street, so in easy reach for most things including the beach. Lovely welcome package from the rental company.

We love Aldeburgh, a quaint and interesting village, lots of places to visit in the area, good restaurants and interesting bars. A good selection of high end shops. It's great to park the car for a couple of days and enjoy the area.

Aldeburgh is a pleasant holiday destination with a good range of shops and restaurants. It is of course on the sea which offers beaches and the opportunity to fish and of course to eat fish and chips from the local chippy.

Aldeburgh is delightful, we've been 5 times before and loved it every time. Good beach, great dog walks and lots of good places to eat. Particular shout out to The Two Magpies for breakfast (and cakes), The Suffolk, Aldeburgh Market and The Lighthouse for dinner.

It's a nice coastal town, with cinema, pubs, cafes and restaurants, plus an attractive pebble beach very close to town centre. Also some nice shops - I found Reed Books next to where I was staying was good place to pick up some extra holiday reading when I'd finished what I"d brought.
I ate at a number of different venues, all good. Don't remember all the names but one was the Chocolate Teapot where I had a very good crab salad. Lots of dishes using the local seafood in most of the restaurants and cafe's,

The town is welcoming and friendly.
Parking is a bit trying but then it is for everybody including local people. The high street has a good selection of shops of all kinds. The town is vibrant and charming without being noisy. For those of all ages who may want a gentler holiday.

This was one of the best cottages of the many we have stayed in... The property was well equipped, comfortable and beautifully presented with great attention to every detail - artistic and creative hosts! Plenty of storage, garden space outside and exceptionally clean, tidy and well cared for. Aldeburgh is perfect for a short (or long) break and local supermarkets were just round the corner.
The hotel is very well situated and has a nice feel to to it. The room is a good size and the bed comfortable. Parking, although limited at the hotel isn't great but it is free to park on the road at the front (but having got a space we daren't move it as Aldeburgh was very busy),
It's all very familiar, but the location is wonderful and the sea view room feels like being on a ship. Staff are excellent and friendly. Food is great. Aldeburgh is beautiful. What more could you ask for?
Location was fantastic, opposite the beach. The room was lovely, clean and quiet. It's a charming hotel with lots of old English character and elegance. A real jewel. Well worth staying.
