Chef so lovely and lady on breakfast duty also - helped set up so we could watch the All Blacks v England rugby match early in the morning. Chef also showed some interesting local events being the Orca visiting the harbour. Made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were great - lots of choice

They have a great breakfast. Beds comfortable, and room set up nicely. Everything is fresh, with a scottish flair. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The apartments have a sitting room, which has a tv, refrigerator and tea, and hot chocolate, with biscuits, making it easy to relax.

The rooms may intially seem a little dated, but they are well equiped and a great place to get dry. There's an outstanding cooked breakfast which you pre order I found this prevented delays and hearing "we've got your order muddled" which I ecountered in another hotel whilst I was in Scotland. There's also a good range of cereals and fruit -a cornucopia has nothing on this place,
