Toured the grounds after for a nice walk. Perfect distance to bamburgh and alnwick castles for a day out.

Beaumont Hotel is situated in the heart of the market town of Hexham, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the rail station. The food was splendid. We had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed them both very much. The staff were all excellent and i would highly recommend this hotel.

England's most northerly hotel, just 300 yards from the Scottish Border, the Marshall Meadows Manor House is set in 15 acres woodland gardens and boasts sea views and good food. This place is like paradise. The manor directly at the sea, you can have a walk on a public footpath at the shore. The Manor itself is so beautiful, the rooms super tidy, you can sit on the bench by the window watching over the sea. The breakfast was super, the price for All this more than worth it

This magnificent 14th-century castle is set in a 12-acre woodland estate. Overall the experience offered by Langley Castle was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the architecture to the family friendly dining. The drawing room was inviting and very comfortable to sit in while having coffee, drinks, and waiting for supper.

Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, The Cookie Jar (Alnwick) was formerly the Convent of Mercy, and is just 0.2 miles from the centre of Alnwick. Words really fail me to explain how special this property was. The attention to every single detail was exquisite. I’m a professional organizer. My business is details. I’ve never seen anything like this. Everything - even the lights on the floor that automatically come on when you walk into the bathroom - was planned perfectly when this former convent was remodeled to make a sacred space for all its guests. There was even framed sheet music in the halls to, I assume, pay homage to the beautiful music that must’ve once graced the hallways. The staff was so warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was like something out of a Veranda magazine spread. The breakfast was delicious. At every turn in the hotel and the room itself, we were met with a delightful and unexpected experience. Who puts this much thought into a public space? The Cookie Jar does. You made our once-in-a-lifetime trip unforgettable.
