This is a gem of a hotel. Good breakfast, friendly staff, large and clean room and bathroom. Very quiet during the night. It is easy walking distance to a picturesque, traditional "downtown" area as well as to a number of surprisingly good local restaurants. Some good scenic hikes are also readily accessible. We used the hotel as a home base for a seminar we were attending elsewhere in the Spessart region, and it fulfilled that role very well. Our week-long stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
Heigenbrücken
Although this is a rooftop apartment, this does not compromise on comfort! About cleanliness : Most German accommodations are good, but this one is the absolute winner… Everything is shiney, and looks brandnew! Comfortable beds, quiet nights. The extension has great views and feels like a roofed terrace. Excellent starting point for MTB tours through the vast Spessart forest!

Location, rooms, bathroom and breakfast were all superb. The owner lady is so very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome and the whole place is beautifully renovated and modernised whilst keeping its traditional German style of a Gasthouse. Very tasteful mix of new and traditional!

It is a beautiful decorated and remodeled hotel. From the outside it doesn’t look that great but I hope they will remodel it as well. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is the best that we had so far and the dinner is original German food which taste so delicious.
