Occupant un bâtiment historique, à 4 minutes à pied du Huayan Temple East Plaza, le Pipa Hostel propose un hébergement dans la ville de Datong. Très bon petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet. La chambre avec son lit confortable en baldaquin était très jolie. Équipement excellent, salle de bain vaste et propre. L'emplacement de l'hôtel au milieu de la vieille ville de Datong est parfait pour s'y promener.

Alice was amazing and 100% available all the time.. All the staff was great even though their English was limited. The hotel is in a nice old building, the rooms are simple but nice and clean. It's right in the city centre but you wouldn't feel the noise of the main street from the rooms.

As for other tourism attractions although a bit far, the hotel can recommend drivers and the prices are acceptable.

Our hotel room was spacious and very comfortable with all the modern necessities, We were also given yummy treats of cookies and black vinegar (a speciality of Datong and Pingyao). Breakfast was very good and the serving was big. The location of hotel is very good cos it is near the West Gate and the historical buildings and restaurants are all within walking distance in the old city. The staff at the hotel are just excellent. Alice the manager is such a vibrant, knowledgeable and helpful lady who speaks very good english.
