I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nuss due to its amazing location, with the Bahnhof just minutes away, providing quick and convenient access to Eibsee within a 10-minute train ride. The staff at the hotel were not only professional but exceptionally kind and accommodating, adding a personal touch to the experience. The combination of a great location, efficient transportation to Eibsee and Zugspitze, and the wonderful hospitality of the staff made my stay memorable and highly recommended. I look forward to returning for another visit.

Beautifully appointed apartments, tastefully decorated and fully functional place complete with a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. We had the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment which was so spacious we could have 8 person's in the apartment for dinner comfortably. Location was spot on, right next to Zugspitze and minutes away by foot to restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Partnachklamm was 5 mins away and Kolbensattel only 25 mins. The eatery with the same name next door is an amazing breakfast place too!

The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk from the Zugspitze station, train station and main square of Garmish-Partenkirchen. The facilities were excellent and the rooms were comfortable. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and the dinner was also great, but we only had that two nights. The outdoor swimming pool with view of the mountains is wonderful as is the indoor swimming pool and there are lots of loungers, especially at the time we were using it which was later in the evening.

This hotel has always been a jem in the skirts of the Alps, but now it is even better. All renewed and beautifuly designed. The staff is as always right on spot, very proffesional and polite. Free parking at the property. Perfect location with gorgeous views over the Eibsee lake and Zugspitze - the top of Germany. The restaurant offers quality fresh and gourmet food. The bar has the friendliest, knowledgeable and proffesional bartender. Will alwayshughly recommend! The SPA - facilities are the chery of the pie.

René and Esther were wonderful hosts. They took a real interest in our activities. They care about their guests. The room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom with a good walk-in shower. It was quiet at night. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the mountains. Berwang is a small town and you can walk everywhere. Although there was one flight of stairs to our room, the stairs were not steep and had a good handrail. It's an easy day trip to get to the Austrian side of Zugspitze gondola.

It's right at the heart of Austrian Zugspitze area, with a breathtaking mountain view (either Sonnenspitze, Wannig and Grubigstein, or, on the other side, Daniel and Zugspitze). A typical old farm house, nicely renovated, with an italian restaurant on the ground floor. A room has a large balcony with lovely flowers. Kitchen facilities were superb: clean, versatile (even a dish washer was in!), barely used (we cooked every day with pleasure). A good match to the gorgeous landscape around!

We liked the location, facilities. We could see Alpspitze and Zugspitze from our balcony. The receptionists are very helpful and friendly. They speak English. They gave each of us a guest card with which you get some benefits, for example, all buses are free except 9840. You also get 1€ discount per person for partnach gorge tickets Moreover, it is located in foothills of Wank mountain, so it was easier for us because we wanted to hike Wank mountain.

We stayed here for just one night before our early morning ascent to Zugspitze. The staff’s kindness and attentiveness were exceptional—making us feel as if we were staying in a luxury hotel. The rooms were cozy and full of character, with a warm, traditional style reminiscent of a classic Austrian lodge. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with attention to detail and a sense of rich heritage, adding to its welcoming charm.

Beautiful apartment. Very comfortable, clean. Full kitchen, plenty of tables/seating, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Two beautiful balconies with gorgeous views. Apartment walkable to a grocery store (Lidl) and not far from the quaint downtown area. Very close to Wank Mountain, which we really enjoyed exploring over Zugspitze and Eibsee. Fewer crowds! Communication was excellent.

Room was spacious and clean, balcony has a nice view of street and mountains. Hotel is very close to the public transport buses and train both. Farchant is near to Garmisch and Zugspitze. Everyday twice you can watch cows walking in front of the hotel and hear the sound cow bells. Breakfast was also good. Room had a coffee machine to enjoy a quick coffee. Staff was very helpful.

Great location right off of the main historic street of Partenkirchen (2 minute walk). The apartment was spacious and had enough room to accommodate a family. It was easy to use the kitchen to cook. The patio looked nice and had a view of Zugspitze, but it was winter, so we didn't use it every much. It was a quick drive (and probably a long walk) to the main area of Garmisch

Very clean place with a unique interrior! A minimalsts dream with an amazing location - right in the middle of the city, close to local restaurants. If you are looking for a place to stay and you want something different to a usual hotels - this is a place to stay. Also, very close many nature trails,, mountains and places like - Eibsee lake and Zugspitze mountains.

I was greeted by the most welcoming, friendly staff--that is always a wonderful surprise. The room was large, had a very nice balcony with a view of the Zugspitze, and had everything I needed. The hotel is in a fantastic location, easy walking distance to town. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was generous and tasty. A perfect stay!

Apartment is great and equipped with everything one needs during vacation stay. Located at the bottom of the Zugspitze. Views of the valley and the mountains are amazing. There is a bus stop 5 mins away and Ehrwald town 10 mins. 20 mins walk to the Tiroler Zugspitze cable car. One can this cable car from Austrian side to go to the Zugspitze.

Very well maintained hostel with welcoming hosts in an idyllic small town on the border of Austria and Germany. Great location for hikers or cyclists looking to explore the Zugspitze area without staying in a busy town or expensive hotel. Kitchen and laundry facilities were good, and breakfast buffet was well worth the small charge.

Exceptionally large apartment with family room, kitchen and two bedrooms. Wrap around porch with view of Zugspitze. Very clean and all appliances, including washer and dryer. Wonderful thick towels! Nice garden in quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Parking in private garage onsite.

Apartment was large and quiet and had everything pots and pans needed to cook for our family. Salt and sugar but no coffee, tea or oil. Extra towels in the closet. Balconies on each side with beautiful Mountain Views. Kids loved the beds coming out of the wall :) bus stop for zugspitze and eibsee around the corner.

Unbelievable view over Zugspitze!!! from our room and from restaurant, it is really unique and breathtaking! Super friendly and competent staff, who helped us with all kinds of quesitons. it is only 10 min ride to the Cable car station to the Austrian side of Zugspitze. We enjoyed it fully.

Good location, close to the railway station and in the middle of town. An old hotel with plenty of athmosphere, but could need some refurbishing. The room was spacious, bathroom not the newest, but ok. We could leave luggage in the hotel next day when we went to Zugspitze (can recommend that).

The apartment has great views over towards Zugspitze and the mountains, it is in a great location for hikes - particularly up towards Pflegersee and there are some beautiful walks in the mountains behind. The beds were comfy and the facilities were fine. It was a really relaxing place to stay.
