Great location with lovely views of the mountains, access to trails from hotel and short drive to Grossglockner trail. Beautiful building, large, comfortable, clean and modern room, great bed and excellent whirlpool, saunas (3) and relaxation/cool down area. Self serve meals (except main course at dinner) with a great variety of fruits, vegetables, salads, breads, etc. Free coffee (expresso, capachino, etc). Self serve (honour system) alcoholic beverages, good selection and very reasonable prices. A rare jem and an amazing value! Do not hesitate to stay here

Came super exhausted after travelling over a 2600 m high mountain with my bike, Hen I think is his name was super chill. He showed me the room, let me took a shower and was cool company while I had dinner in the amazing restaurant.

I'll start with the awesome location - quiet, inside the mountain, wonderful views everywhere you look, clear air, clean water. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and in the room there was a nice wardrobe with plenty of space for your luggage. The room was very well designed and equipped with attention to every single detail - well done! And now - last but not least - the staff was amazing - helpful, professional, friendly. If I can give 10 out of 10 for the hotel, the staff that works there added additional 10 on top of the overall rating - Thank you guys! Whoever is the manager in the hotel - you build awesome team - the staff you have is a real treasure! PS - for someone who's looking for the parking details - parking is underground with plenty of spaces (1 space for each room/accomodation) and plenty of space to maneuver with large SUVs. There are a lot of parking spaces with dedicated electrical charging station. There was even a dedicated space where you can leave your personal bicycle (if you bring your own bicycle).

The 4*S SPA & Naturhotel Outside is located in the center of Matrei in East Tyrol, surrounded by the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Each room has a balcony with mountain views. We recently stayed at this hotel, and while the property itself is well-maintained and the staff incredibly friendly, our experience was marred by an unexpected and disruptive renovation project. Just before our arrival, they began renovating the outdoor swimming pool, which made mornings unbearable due to loud construction noise. The noise also drastically altered the view from our room, replacing the serene mountainscape with a construction site. The hotel did offer a small discount for the inconvenience, but had we known about the renovation before booking, we would have considered canceling our stay entirely. Unfortunately, we weren’t given that option, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast and dinner were both enjoyable, and the property itself is charming. Still, the noise and the construction site view significantly impacted our overall experience.

Apartman u prekrasnoj prirodi, ljubazne domaćice, sauna, garaža za dva auta s kojima smo dolazili, na raspolaganju domaći proizvodi s farme, potpuno opremljen prostran, izrazito udoban prostor, dvije terase, igralište za djecu, stolni tenis. Izvrsna lokacija za poći na Grossglockner, slapovi u blizini, pogodno za hodanje. Mir i tišina u mjestu, povratak prirodi.
Doručak je bio odličan, nekoliko vrsta jaja, svježe povrće, kruh i peciva. Kava iz aparata je bila ukusna. Pogled iz sobe je predivan na najviši vrh Austrije Grossglockner. Hotel je uređen u alpskom stilu i predivno se uklapa u ambijent mjesta i okolnih planina. Osoblje je za svaku pohvalu iznimno su ljubazni i kulturni.
Lokacija je odlična. Sjajno je to što je ulaznica za Grossglocknerhochalpenstrasse uključena u cijenu smještaja. Parking osiguran. Cijena prihvatljiva.

Excellent hotel with very spacious and beautiful rooms. In addition, there is a spa floor with two pools: indoor and open. The location is central to the town, and the breakfast is good with rich selection.

It is a ski sport hotel. We were there in the summer and spent a great holiday with kids. All day food and drinks are included in the price. Variety of good food. Indoor swimming pool, sauna. Bike rental shop next door. Free parking. There is a lot to do in the neighborhood even in the summer, plenty of paths to hike and bike and other sport activities.
Fantastic place, I visited for 2nd time! Moni (the lady that manages the place) is absolutely fantastic! I will come back with pleasure!
