Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblutâs centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot... Everything PERFECT!! We had the bday of our son (2 years), and they organized a chocolate cake, balloons, candle…. Was magic! Confortable beds, bathroom, a marvelous breakfast. So clean!!! Staff super super friendly.

Great location with lovely views of the mountains, access to trails from hotel and short drive to Grossglockner trail. Beautiful building, large, comfortable, clean and modern room, great bed and excellent whirlpool, saunas (3) and relaxation/cool down area. Self serve meals (except main course at dinner) with a great variety of fruits, vegetables, salads, breads, etc. Free coffee (expresso, capachino, etc). Self serve (honour system) alcoholic beverages, good selection and very reasonable prices. A rare jem and an amazing value! Do not hesitate to stay here

The luxurious Gradonna Mountain Resort can be found amid the Großglockner Resort Kals-Matrei right next to a ski slope and offers you a 3000-m² spa area and stylish rooms and chalets. I'll start with the awesome location - quiet, inside the mountain, wonderful views everywhere you look, clear air, clean water. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and in the room there was a nice wardrobe with plenty of space for your luggage. The room was very well designed and equipped with attention to every single detail - well done! And now - last but not least - the staff was amazing - helpful, professional, friendly. If I can give 10 out of 10 for the hotel, the staff that works there added additional 10 on top of the overall rating - Thank you guys! Whoever is the manager in the hotel - you build awesome team - the staff you have is a real treasure! PS - for someone who's looking for the parking details - parking is underground with plenty of spaces (1 space for each room/accomodation) and plenty of space to maneuver with large SUVs. There are a lot of parking spaces with dedicated electrical charging station. There was even a dedicated space where you can leave your personal bicycle (if you bring your own bicycle).

Very clean functional and accommodating hotel located on the road to the GrossGlockner pass. Easy access and restaurant located on the premises. Bar located next door and alternative restaurants located close by. Small town ,close to hiking. Parking was on site and staff was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast included. Great value.

With panoramic views of the Großglockner and the Hohe Tauern Mountains, the Lärchenhof is just 100 metres from the centre of Heiligenblut and 150 metres from the Großglockner Bergbahnen Cable Car. The staff was super kind and helpful, felt welcome from the very first moment. Great location - 300m from the ski lift - clean and cosy rooms with great view. Three choices for dinner menu and last but least the thermarium (sauna) is spectacular.

Hotel a Matrei in Osttirol
The 4*S SPA & Naturhotel Outside is located in the center of Matrei in East Tyrol, surrounded by the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Each room has a balcony with mountain views. We recently stayed at this hotel, and while the property itself is well-maintained and the staff incredibly friendly, our experience was marred by an unexpected and disruptive renovation project. Just before our arrival, they began renovating the outdoor swimming pool, which made mornings unbearable due to loud construction noise. The noise also drastically altered the view from our room, replacing the serene mountainscape with a construction site. The hotel did offer a small discount for the inconvenience, but had we known about the renovation before booking, we would have considered canceling our stay entirely. Unfortunately, we weren’t given that option, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast and dinner were both enjoyable, and the property itself is charming. Still, the noise and the construction site view significantly impacted our overall experience.
