Mama Lea and Don Mario treated us like family from the time we booked. The lodge is on the floating islands of Uros. We were the only family staying at their lodge. They picked us up by boat from Kalapajra Port in Puno and returned us there after our stay. They took us on a boat tour of Uros for S/15 each ($4US each) and taught us so much about the Aymara culture and always had our comfort at top of mind bringing blankets for us and providing seat cushions to lean on in the boat. The furnishings of the room were also fabulous. Everything was so clean and well appointed. The room offered fabulous views of Lake Titicaca!

The accomodation is basic but has everything you need. The host family is outstanding and the trips with Carlos in his boats were great fun for us and our kids. A boat/shop passes by each morning to buy some basic stuff, and dinner (very good)/drinks can be bought (cheap).Gas heating in the room and warm bottles to keep your feet warm in the bed. Dont forget to bring cash!!

The property is 7 km from the city centre, and right in front of Titicaca lake. Everything was marvellous: the place, the view, the sunsets. What really made everything perfect was the people: Eddie, Salome, their family and Tini, the family's pet. We felt welcomed and cared for. We were even provided with hot water bottles at night. A wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Everything really exceeded our expectations at Uros Amaru Marka Lodge. Felix is a fantastic host. He picked us up when we were returning fro an overnight trip to Amantani Island so this saved us at least one hour as we did not have to go back all the way to Puno port. He picked us up at the beginning of the Uros channel by his boat. The room was super comfortable with superb beds and a great patio for relax. Felix took us on a 3-hour ride around few Uros islands, including the restaurant, museum and other points of interest. Very late check-out was not a problem. Really fantastic experience and host. Thank you Felix & your family (incl. a dog Falco - very friendly :-))

We only had one night to spend at Uros Semarana Uta Lodge and we regret it was only this much. It was an amazing time, Cesar is very friendly and very responsive. He arranged our pick up from the train station and took us with his boat from the taxi. He and Lucy prepared an amazing stay for us, the house is very clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. The next day we didn't have anything planned so Cesar took us to a tour around the islands, explained to us everything about their community, arranged for a totora boat trip and gave us an amazing time learning a lot of stuff. Him and Lucy are such warm and friendly persons, it was so nice to be guests in their home and we recommend to pass their door step and get to know them, you will have an amazing time.

At Uros Qhantany Lodge guests are served a complimentary breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be found on the island. Our group of 4 loved our stay at this lodge on 10/1/23! It was clean, warm and above all the staff were amazing and treated us like family. The food was delicious and so was the wine and tea. Our bed had plenty of blankets that kept us warm and the water bottles they put in your bed at night just added to the coziness. The sunset was beautiful, at dusk many birds & ducks were flying around that were entertaining to watch & listen to. We were able to take the canoe out ourselves the following morning so I could spread my sons cremains on Lake Titicaca. The morning fog rising from the lake was beautiful and the sun popped out right afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this lodge to everyone!
