The location was amazing. The hosts were exceptionally kind, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious. Our room provided an amazing view. The lodge was beautifully decorated, Cesar was an amazing host. Food cooked by Lucy was delicious, they offer everything you need. We were amazed with the view and how relaxing it was. Keep in mind it is in the Titicaca Lake so restaurants and things to do are limited. But it’s a beautiful place .

Exceptional experience. Very comfortable lodge, very attentive and delicate hosts. Lodge itself is very big and has plenty seats (and even one bed) to enjoy the lake and sunrise/sunset/sun outside. Even hot shower. Even sofa. And decent lunch/dinner/breakfast. Strongly recommended.

Living on the floating island is an amazing experience! The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and, for a room on a floating island, the attached bathroom great!
The couple were very nice and willing to provide help and support! For example, at night time, we were given hot water bottles to heat up the beds as it dropped below freezing at night.
We requested a few additional services and they were very helpful. Breakfast was included in the booking, but we asked to be given lunch and dinner. We also asked for pickup and drop-off at the Puno port. Finally, Don Mario gave us an amazing tour: At first, he brought us to the area the reeds are growing and shows us how he harvests them as well as some other traditions and methods. In the second part, we toured the village seeing the school, kindergarten, and hospital as well as some traditional huts. The hosts were just amazing!

We enjoyed our stay here once we got settled in. You have to think of staying on any of the islands more like glamping versus a traditional hotel. There is no power other than 12 volt plugs to charge your phone plus overhead lights. The hot water is solar powered so no sun, no hot water (though that didn’t happen while we were there). Once you understand that you can enjoy it. The rooms were definitely the best quality of any places we saw on the islands. Very nice linens and plenty of covers if it gets cold. I liked that they didn’t nickel and dime you for excursions. Included in the price is all meals, use of a tandem boat/kayak, rides on the reed boat, and a visit to the main floating island area. The lodge is absolutely quiet and peaceful and the rooms all come with areas to relax over the water. Pretty good food, though simple. The hosts were unfailingly willing to please and very nice people who will share their history living on the lake.

We have recently stayed at Uros Lodge, and it exceeded all our expectations! The room is specious, comfortable and cozy, with breathtaking views of the lake that make for unforgettable sunrises and sunsets. I especially loved the traditional décor that beautifully reflects the local heritage. The food was great —each meal was delicious and prepared by the family with fresh, local ingredients. One of the standout experiences was the opportunity to engage with the local Uros community. Walter and his sweet dog Hiska took us on a boat tour that provides insight into their way of life, and we learned a lot about their traditions and crafts. If you’re looking for a unique getaway that combines comfort, adventure, and cultural immersion, Uros Lodge is the perfect choice. We can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return!

I really enjoyed staying at Ricardo and Cynthia's lodge! The bedroom is huge, very clean and comfortable, and the bed on the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset with their lovely dogs. The large and comfortable bed is a plus, considering it is much more common in Peru for hotels to offer double beds instead of queen or king sizes. Ricardo and Cynthia are lovely hosts, providing information about local culture and arranging tours for their guests. They also prepare meals there at a fair price.
We had a great time at the lodge. We enjoyed the food and the tour of the lake. The view of the lake through the glas windows is stunning. Compared to other lodges this one has its own island and is located further away from the village.
Incredible location and located a bit further out than other similar lodges on the Uros islands so it was very peaceful. The scenery is just stunning. Our room was of an excellent standard with a very comfy king size bed. We also enjoyed sitting out on our porch, watching the sunset was really special. Eduardo and family were so helpful and friendly and the food provided was delicious. We stayed only one night but would recommend two nights if you have time.
Great location! The room was not expensive compared to other lodges nearby. The hot water bottles were helpful to keep our bed warm the whole night, amazingly till the morning. The people were very friendly and helpful.
Very immersive and wonderful experience. Uros lodges are located far from touristic rush of Puno and we had a great opportunity to see the daily life of Miguel and his family - they were all very nice, friendly and very helpful. Also, they provided us with great food, took us fishing, gave us sorojchi pills when we did not feel great because of high altitude and much much more. Highly recommend to everyone!
A unique experience to sleep on a floating island. The location is stunning, probably one of the best in the Uros for sunset. Cesar and his family are extremely welcoming hosts, keen to share as much about the local culture while also making sure you enjoy your privacy. The food, hospitality and help finding our way there and onwards after leaving have made it our favourite experience in Peru so far.
This lodge sits on its own, far from any neighbouring lodges, and this has a truly breathtaking effect. We had a really peaceful couple nights.
