Beautiful, peaceful location in floating reed island. Juan and Amalia are the most warm and friendly hosts. The room is huge with plate glass windows all around, well heated and with massive 230cm wide bed, turned down each evening with a hot water bottle! The price includes all meals and excursions on the Uros Islands. If you want beer or wine, best to bring your own or there’s a local shop Juan can motor you to.

Caesar and his wife Lucy were absolutely incredible. They were so attentive throughout our stay, from start to finish.
Easy pick up at 5.30 am where Caesar organised a taxi to pick us up and drop us off at the boat collection point where he was waiting for us. The room was absolutely beautiful with incredible views. The beds were comfortable. The balcony with bed overlooking the lake was so peaceful.
At night we were provided with hot water bottles to keep us warm and also an in room heater which was amazing.
The food was spectacular. Breakfast, lunch and dinner could not be faulted. Nothing was too much to ask.
The experience of visiting local families and learning about culture was very interesting and a great few hours. We also were invited to go fishing the morning before we left with Lucy and this was incredible.
Caesars English is really good and he is so helpful.
Honestly, best stay we have ever had. Nothing was too much and the hosts were so accommodating. Would highly recommend!!

The location is a floating island (Uros) and the houses are built on the island owned by (the family of) Carlos. You really feel part of the family! They took great care of us and gave great tips on where to go (like tour to the Island Taquile and Ruines of Sillustani): and arranged it for us (and transported us by boat to the Harbour of Puno everytime for free for that transit).

The lodge was fantastic, decorated with so much care and attention to detail. The host family was also amazing, we were picked up and dropped off at the port, offered dinner, tea, coffee and even showed around on one of the traditional boats. It made our stay unforgettable. It's very peaceful and quiet around as well, you could only hear the various birds. Perfect for star gazing too.

Lea and Mario were so kind. There was a language barrier as we don’t speak Spanish fluently but we still felt so welcomed and learnt so much as we did a tour with Mario. He made every effort to show us the area and demonstrate their traditions.

What an amazing experience. Armando was the best host, really privileged to be able to spend some time living alongside a local family learning the history and thier culture. The breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had in Peru, fresh local food, the fruit salad and bread was especially good.
Great day trip to Taquile islad was suggested, we booked this and was a really good trip, great value along with a delicious local lunch.

I really enjoyed staying at Ricardo and Cynthia's lodge! The bedroom is huge, very clean and comfortable, and the bed on the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset with their lovely dogs. The large and comfortable bed is a plus, considering it is much more common in Peru for hotels to offer double beds instead of queen or king sizes. Ricardo and Cynthia are lovely hosts, providing information about local culture and arranging tours for their guests. They also prepare meals there at a fair price.
We had a great time at the lodge. We enjoyed the food and the tour of the lake. The view of the lake through the glas windows is stunning. Compared to other lodges this one has its own island and is located further away from the village.
Incredible location and located a bit further out than other similar lodges on the Uros islands so it was very peaceful. The scenery is just stunning. Our room was of an excellent standard with a very comfy king size bed. We also enjoyed sitting out on our porch, watching the sunset was really special. Eduardo and family were so helpful and friendly and the food provided was delicious. We stayed only one night but would recommend two nights if you have time.
Great location! The room was not expensive compared to other lodges nearby. The hot water bottles were helpful to keep our bed warm the whole night, amazingly till the morning. The people were very friendly and helpful.
Very immersive and wonderful experience. Uros lodges are located far from touristic rush of Puno and we had a great opportunity to see the daily life of Miguel and his family - they were all very nice, friendly and very helpful. Also, they provided us with great food, took us fishing, gave us sorojchi pills when we did not feel great because of high altitude and much much more. Highly recommend to everyone!
A unique experience to sleep on a floating island. The location is stunning, probably one of the best in the Uros for sunset. Cesar and his family are extremely welcoming hosts, keen to share as much about the local culture while also making sure you enjoy your privacy. The food, hospitality and help finding our way there and onwards after leaving have made it our favourite experience in Peru so far.
This lodge sits on its own, far from any neighbouring lodges, and this has a truly breathtaking effect. We had a really peaceful couple nights.
