There is a stunning wildlife surrounding this place.

With city views, titicaca lodge - LUQUINA is situated in Luquina and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Our stay here was a very special and memorable experience. Guido and his family are welcoming and wonderful hosts, and we felt completely welcome in their home. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an amazing view, Guido organised fabulous activities - a walk up the hill with his daughter to watch the sunset, helping the family to plant potatoes, and a return boat trip to Puno via Taquile Island. Best of all he organised a private trip to a very small Uros Island where we were almost the only visitors - a complete contrast to what we had heard about the islands being very commercial. However it was useful to know some Spanish for this trip.

It’s an extremely beautiful hotel, a very nice place to stay and enjoy lake Titicaca. The owner of this hotel and his family are very nice and helpful. Although it is chilly outside, they keep us comfortable inside. They also assist to arrange transportation for us.

Situated 4.6 km from Estadio Enrique Torres Belon, Vip Flotante offers accommodation with a patio. Wow! I'm so grateful to have spent time in this beautiful place with an amazing family. If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

Beautiful, peaceful location in floating reed island. Juan and Amalia are the most warm and friendly hosts. The room is huge with plate glass windows all around, well heated and with massive 230cm wide bed, turned down each evening with a hot water bottle! The price includes all meals and excursions on the Uros Islands. If you want beer or wine, best to bring your own or there’s a local shop Juan can motor you to.

Carlos is a great host! He went above and beyond for us to see and learn about the community. The food was great and our room was perfect for us. Incredible view from our private dock. Featuring city views, Amantani Lodge in Amantani features accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Complimentary WiFi is featured. Probably our favorite place in Peru so far! Henry and Mariluz were the loveliest, the most welcoming and attentive hosts and such a lovely family. We’ve never wished more to speak fluent Spanish, but with some basic knowledge we got along quite well. We learnt so much about the life on the island from them! They also prepared abundant and delicious meals for us and gave us snacks to go when necessary. Apart from that, the location is perfect since Incatiana is a quiet village, but still close to the main plaza and to both Patchamama and Patchatata which are a must-do for hikers! And the view from the terrace is stunning. Our room was well equipped and comfortable including a hot shower and loads of blankets – Henry even gave us an electric heater in case we got cold. To sum up, we stayed for two nights, but if we could, we would even extend our stay.
