Set in tranquil surroundings with large landscaped grounds and a picturesque garden terrace with mountain views, Tongariro Crossing Lodge offers uniquely spacious rooms with historic character. The staff provided exceptional guidance so that we could take stunning views of the mountains during sunset. Very high quality breakfast. Overall, exceeded my expectations in this rather remote/resource limited (to a city person at least) location.

Boasting river views, Beech Tree Lodge provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 24 km from Turoa. Unbeknown to the host our Whanau live directly across the road so to find this gem was perfect will definitely come back

Ruapehu Country Lodge is located within a 15-minute drive of Tongariro National Park, home of the world-renowned Tongariro Crossing. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this lodge. Spacious. Garden seating near a stream. Use of a hot tub and sauna. Residents lounge was relaxing at the end of the evening. Good breakfast. Warm, friendly and informative owners.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Great rooms. Spacious, clean and comfortable.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Pukenui Lodge is situated in National Park in the Manawatu Region. Turangi is 41 km from the property. We like the bunkrooms great for the kids, and the ensuite is a bonus to have. Four-square and gas station close by. Great service from the owner, very friendly to talk to. Kids enjoyed the family and games room with the tv, ping pong set, and arcade game. Kept the kids busy!! The shared kitchen was great with all the equipment needed. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Everything is Good and comfy the staff’s their are so friendly and they will assist you right away, they also have free breakfast and also hot coffee and chocolate

Featuring amazing views of Mt Ruapehu, 2 hot tubs and a restaurant with a large deck area, Kings Ohakune is 2 minutes’ walk from Ohakune Station and 3 minutes' walk from the start of the Ohakune... Perfect location. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice and warm. The heater was already on for our arrival. Everything you need for a nice stay. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for anything more!! The spa pools were fantastic!!
