Very wonderful accommodation just outside Dambulla. The boss welcomed us with a drink and looked after us the whole time. The boss met the individual needs of each of us. The breakfasts were plentiful and always with a nice comment about Sri Lankan cuisine. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we felt very happy, friendly and safe here.

The room itself was spacious and clean, the surroundings are beautiful with a nice view of the rock and paddy fields all over , and a nice lake a couple of minutes away. The food was absolutely delicious, I had dinner and breakfast, the curries were simply superb , varied and home style. All in all a very good, comfortable and enriching stay

The place was so so beautiful and absolutely charming. We liked chilling by the pool after a long day under the sun. The owners are always ready to help (wether to book a tuk-tuk, a safari or to help you catch the bus when leaving) The food (breakfast + dinner) was excellent and they even prepare a celebration for my boyfriend’s birthday. You can go there without any doubt

Guests at the lodge can enjoy an Asian breakfast. I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!
