The Homestay experience was really good, the hosts were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The room itself was spacious and clean, the surroundings are beautiful with a nice view of the rock and paddy fields all over , and a nice lake a couple of minutes away.
The food was absolutely delicious, I had dinner and breakfast, the curries were simply superb , varied and home style. All in all a very good, comfortable and enriching stay

We enjoyed a super meal on the first night, followed by morning safari, a 80 minute full body massage at spa nearby and a walk up Pidurangala rock at sunset. They have their own tuk tuk so lifts to/ from places was easy.

A small number of beautiful lodges in beautiful green surroundings. Everything fits together perfectly and is of good quality. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. The food is more expensive than outside but it is simply fantastic. We had one of the best vegetarian curry selection cooked after our preferences. The breakfast is also really good.
It was lovely and comfortable where we stayed in one of the lodges. The treehouse looked really nice too. The area was out of main Sigiriya, so was quiet, which is just what we wanted. The owner was really friendly and welcoming.

Staff very good , gd location rice paddies nearby good for birdwatching . Room and little private inset terrace. Hotel set out a bit like game lodges over number of floors.
The lodges are spacious and spotless, with comfy beds and crisp linens. large picture windows and a wooden veranda with a view of the bats flying home to roost at sunset. The setting is quite magical, with peacocks, monkeys, iguanas and mongooses inhabiting the grounds. There is a large and well maintained pool which is very welcome. The Sri Lankan breakfast is very tasty and a short walk away Wilhara restaurant serves great food. Great location from which to visit Lion Rock Sigiriya

Exceptional lodge on great location with super friendly hosts who will arrange everything you need. Delicious Srilankan breakfast and diner. Bed is perfect with mosquito net. Bathroom is clean and spacious. This guest house is highly recommended for nature lovers. Meet the sunrise on the hill just up behind your wooden house.
Kuwera is a hidden jungle sanctuary, beautiful peaceful and intriguing. Every member of the lodge was kind, respectful and so helpful, it was a pleasure to meet all of them. The lodges are spacious, beds are super comfortable and the shower was amazing. We loved hanging out with the monkeys by the pool and spotting other wildlife in the garden. Every night we had a delicious Sri Lankan dinner who invited us into his kitchen, and breakfast was also perfect with fresh fruit, eggs and more. Couldn’t fault a single thing about Kuwera.
Beautiful grounds and secluded location. This hotel has stunning modern lodges with beautiful interior and incredible outdoor showers and pool. The food was delicious - the best we ate in Sri Lanka. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They connected us with a nice driver who showed us the area and told us the history with his exceptional English.
