We had a fabulous 3 night stay. Madushan arranged an airport transfer for us and made our 13 hour delay a lot less stressful knowing they were tracking our flight and provided us with a WhatsApp number to contact them on. Thanks Nipan for picking us up so late at night. The hotel really is a little oasis and is stunning. The food is lovely and very reasonably priced. We particularly liked the rice and curry for dinner. The rooms are clean and just like the photos. The outdoor bathroom really is lovely. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and really make the hotel great! The hotels tuk tuk driver Amila drove us around the local sites and waited for us to finish, including an early 4:30am drive to Pidurangala. Thank you to everyone at Kandalama Lodge, you really made the start of our holiday brilliant!!

The room was spacious and very clean. The owner is very kind, he offered to take us to any place in Sigeriya by tuk tuk and gave us excellent recommendations about the lion rock. Breakfast was served fastly and it was really tasty.

The family were so lovely. The lady did our washing and Sosa was rally helpful giving us lifts, they both were very kind and helped us planned our days. The breakfast was different most days, they made us a packed lunch and gave us loads of fruit to try when we booked a safari, can’t reccomend enough! The room was spacious, really nice shower.
Our time at the Kandalama Lodge was beautiful. We felt special from the beginning. Everything was clean and tidy, the interior and decoration was on point. The bathroom outside was a bliss. We stayed at the villa with a private pool which was luxury as well. We felt so at home! Madushan made sure that we had a nice trip to Dabula and organized a driver for us. He made sure that everything was perfect.
The food - try the Sri Lankan curry it is soo good- and the cocktails were amazing!

The rooms were dark and the bath was quite old, but the owners of this lodge were sooo nice and helpful and you felt very comfortable there! Dinner and Breakfast there were amazing!🤩
The Owner (Nuwan) who was always there was charming and very attentive. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom is large and spacious. We booked a safari with them, and it was great; we saw about 80 wild elephants in one day, which was amazing. They also arranged a Car for us to go see the sunrise at Pidurangala.
