We had a really pleasant stay in Sigirya. The cabins are very confortabile and the views to the Lion's Rock are the best, surrounded by rice camps and in the morning you can hear the bird and the nature's sounds. The owner is a very nice and good hearted person, he help us a lot with advices and he took us to the Lion' Rock with his car. The breakfast is was delicious , autentic Sri Lankan. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks you so much!

Offering a barbecue, Sigiri Jungle Villa is situated in Sigiriya. Sigiriya Rock is 1.6 km from the property. The accommodation is air conditioned and has a seating and dining area. The place is family run. Very honest couple, very helpful and likeable. The breakfast is great, not far from lion rock and the main restaurants in Sigirya. Also, if you need to take the 06.30am bus to Kandy, it is very handy as the bus stop is literally five minutes away on the main road. I would definitely return and it is a very good value for money.

Offering a garden, Sun and Green Lodge is situated in Dambulla. Dambulla Cave Temple is 5 km from the property while Sigiriya is 9 km away. Free WiFi is offered . The dinner cooked by Gayani was amazing! The location is also great-- next to the local bus stop.

Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. A night in a tree house was exceptional! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Pidurangala rock. Offered a night walk to view the Loris. Restaurant was lovely and food was fresh and delicious.

I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!
