The Homestay experience was really good, the hosts were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The room itself was spacious and clean, the surroundings are beautiful with a nice view of the rock and paddy fields all over , and a nice lake a couple of minutes away. The food was absolutely delicious, I had dinner and breakfast, the curries were simply superb , varied and home style. All in all a very good, comfortable and enriching stay

He owns a woodcarving shop which is located nearby and worth a visit (we’ve got some lovely souvenirs from him with a substantial discount)

His place is nice and quiet, well located and the swimming is a great addition. Definitely recommended for a great experience in Sigiriya

Waking up in the middle of the jungle feels amazingly peaceful and we can not recommend this place enough

Spiritual Nature Farm - Sri Lanka features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Matale, 29 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!
