This is in the most stunning location and all the lodges are surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. The path entering onto the beach is magical. We came by bus and enjoyed using the bikes to explore the area. (Bring your own bike lights!) We had the suite and loved the cosy kitchen as a place to be in the evening. Kitchen was very well equipped, it even had a teapot which we really appreciated!
For the carless - local restaurant 'Selvin' is a few minutes walk away and is really good, but it is only open Thursday-Sunday. Other places you need to walk at least 1/2 hour or bike or TukTuk.
Very lovely and helpful Nicole, the onsite manager, as well as the smiling gardener who brought us coconut water, grapefruits and bananas. Will carry on dreaming about this place and hope to return!

Puerto Viejo
Featuring garden views, Satta Lodge in Puerto Viejo features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We liked everything and were very happy with our choice. The little house in the middle of the forest/jungle was amazing. It was so quiet. Only at 4 am the hawley monkeys were waking us up with their funny voices. Bryan recommend us a good place to eat dinners at Selvin in Punta Uva and we were in love in that place too. Having a car really helps. You can visit all these playas and a must see that is Cahuita NP.

We loved how private the bungalows were and the beautiful gardens where we saw birds and listened to the howler monkeys. The separate kitchen was great to make additional meals, the coffee maker and fridge in the room was a plus.
The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.

We enjoyed it very much. We saw more animals on the hotel grounds than in the national park. Good access to the beach. Very private. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful interior. The staff is always ready to help you. Special thanks to Masai and her family. Thank you for your hospitality and would love to come back again.

The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

The location is amazing, the breakfast is fantastic, but to me the best part is the host . Alberto is friendly and is not afraid to the extra mile to help his customers. His help was priceless to get our lost luggage back. He also knows the area perfectly with lots of good recommendations, including the restaurant Las Olas, which is amazing.

The garden and pool makes you feel like you are in paradise. The lodges are authentic and fully equipped. Staff is really cheerful and helpful. We really felt like we came back to nature in Passion fruit Ecolodge, this is 100% what we were looking for in our vacation in Costa Rica.
The lodges are lovely, beautifully made with huge bathrooms. The setting feels like you’re right in the heart of the jungle and you can hear howlers most mornings. The pool is a nice addition and the staff were really great, super friendly and created really nice vibes. Breakfast was yummy. Our fave place we stayed in all of Costa Rica!
Very nice, big, calm and clean Lodges with mesmerizing sourrounding. Best place for everyone wanting to relax and searching for privacy. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Thank you!
Great jungle atmosphere, I felt like I’m in a luxury lodge in the middle of an African safari. All hotel area is beautiful and the view to the river is amazing. Lots of nice spots to relax and enjoy nature.
this is an amazing setting and superbly appointed - poolside area and areas to relax both inside and out. the bungalow style lodges are well positioned to enjoy the wildlife and river activities - the garden tour a particular highlight. food exceptional
Beautiful setting in nature jungle with secluded lodges set around a large pool. well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom and bedroom which were stylishly decorated. we loved the yoga platform which was available for us to use and the helpful book of recommendations which we continued to reference after we had left. we didn’t use it but thought the honesty bar was a thoughtful addition. Delphine and Bert were welcoming and have created a fabulous place to stay.
Great location. Easy access via tuktuks to local attractions. Staff very welcoming. Lodges rustic & comfortable. Breakfast good. We didn't use the pool, however it's more of a plunge/bar pool, rather than for swimming. Surrounding gardens very beautiful.
Lovely owners who are helpful about the area and knowledgeable of the nature around them. We saw monkeys hummingbirds and a sloth the two days we were there. Great lodges and a lovely breakfast. Ideal for a stopover from San Jose to the Caribbean side.
We really loved this place with its wonderful wooden lodges and the nature around. If we ll come back to costa Rica that's the place to be.
