Located in Puerto Viejo, Casa Viva Lodge provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. This is in the most stunning location and all the lodges are surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. The path entering onto the beach is magical. We came by bus and enjoyed using the bikes to explore the area. (Bring your own bike lights!) We had the suite and loved the cosy kitchen as a place to be in the evening. Kitchen was very well equipped, it even had a teapot which we really appreciated! For the carless - local restaurant 'Selvin' is a few minutes walk away and is really good, but it is only open Thursday-Sunday. Other places you need to walk at least 1/2 hour or bike or TukTuk. Very lovely and helpful Nicole, the onsite manager, as well as the smiling gardener who brought us coconut water, grapefruits and bananas. Will carry on dreaming about this place and hope to return!

Located in Cahuita, 300 metres from Negra and 26 km from Jaguar Rescue Center, Wildlife Lodge Cahuita provides accommodation with free WiFi, a garden with a terrace, and access to a sauna. Fernando was a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious, the cabin was amazing, and the location could not be any more beautiful.

Featuring garden views, Satta Lodge in Puerto Viejo features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. We liked everything and were very happy with our choice. The little house in the middle of the forest/jungle was amazing. It was so quiet. Only at 4 am the hawley monkeys were waking us up with their funny voices. Bryan recommend us a good place to eat dinners at Selvin in Punta Uva and we were in love in that place too. Having a car really helps. You can visit all these playas and a must see that is Cahuita NP.

Set 2.4 km from Negra, Hotel & Cabinas Nadine offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Mrs. Nadin is an amazing host and super sweet and very helpful. The cabin was ready and super clean. Very quiet location day and night. Highly maintained property with alot of butterflies and humming birds.

Located in Cahuita in the Limon region, with Blanca and Negra nearby, Bungalows Aché Cahuita provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We loved how private the bungalows were and the beautiful gardens where we saw birds and listened to the howler monkeys. The separate kitchen was great to make additional meals, the coffee maker and fridge in the room was a plus. The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.

Set in Puerto Viejo in the Limon region and Manzanillo Beach reachable within 400 metres, Congo Bongo EcoVillage Costa Rica offers accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free... We enjoyed it very much. We saw more animals on the hotel grounds than in the national park. Good access to the beach. Very private. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful interior. The staff is always ready to help you. Special thanks to Masai and her family. Thank you for your hospitality and would love to come back again.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Very nicely and comfortably designed. We had everything we needed. A quiet, restful stay right across from a lovely beach. We even cooked dinner some evenings by the pool area. The owners are delightful and very accomodating. We couldn't have had a nicer time.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. The entire property was magnificent, lush vgetation, expertly landscaped. The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

Set a few steps from Negra, Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House offers a garden, a terrace and accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The location is amazing, the breakfast is fantastic, but to me the best part is the host . Alberto is friendly and is not afraid to the extra mile to help his customers. His help was priceless to get our lost luggage back. He also knows the area perfectly with lots of good recommendations, including the restaurant Las Olas, which is amazing.

Boasting a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the garden, La Magia Bungalows is situated in Puerto Viejo and features accommodation with free WiFi. The bungalow were bright and beautifully built, the facilities were clean and the swimming pool nice for a late before dinner. Laura and Maurizio were really helpful and gave us lot of tips. I loved looking at the stars from the garden, this place is just magic!
