The Angel Inn

Warminster

A 6-minute car journey to the old wool and corn market town of Warminster, The Angel Inn is also 6 miles from Longleat Safari & Adventure Park. The famous prehistoric monument, Stonehenge is just a 34-minute drive away. The room was spacious for two people and the bathroom was quite large. The towels were soft. The mini fridge had complementary orange juice and a small jug of milk for tea and coffee, as well as some water bottles. There was a nice cereal selection, as well as the sandwich offered for the breakfast the next morning. The shower heated up to a good temperature and was consistent. I liked both the large waterfall head and the hose. The fan was also nice to have!

The Methuen Arms

Corsham

Located in the heart of picturesque Corsham, Wiltshire, The Methuen Arms is a stunning Georgian coaching inn, offering 19 newly renovated, stylish bedrooms, award-winning food and delicious Butcombe beer on tap. It's always great staying at the Methuen Arms. Lovely rooms, with exceptionally good breakfasts and evening dining, and the staff are brilliant. Location could not be better - Corsham is a lovely town of course but leaving our car in the hotel car park and visiting Bath on the bus is a real joy (very frequent buses).

We found the staff to be very welcoming, courteous and helpful. On the day we were leaving our car wouldn't start & a member of staff, Marie, helped us by letting us use the jump leads so we could get going. The food was amazing too.
