We had a quirky yet modern and characterful room with plenty of sockets for phones and such. Breakfast and dinner were very good and the Inn is a short 1.7 mile walk to the amazing sights at Stourhead.

Located in Swallowcliffe, The Royal Oak features a garden and bar. This inn features free WiFi and on-site dining. Free private parking is available on site. Dreamy is the one word that comes to mind. The whole property is quaint and just beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak. From the rooms to the location. We loved everything. The breakfast was delicious and made with quality ingredients. The rooms were perfect for our needs. Clean and beautifully decorated. Coming from a different country we did have some trouble with internet service but I think It has to do with our roaming service. We can't wait to return.

The room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Food and breakfast were both lovely The server Eden was so charming and welcoming, I felt like part of the family

The Pear Tree Inn is situated just 20 minutes' drive away from Bath, less than 10 minutes' drive from the National Trust village of Lacock and the market town of Bradford on Avon. Absolutely lovely inn. Beautiful gardens, rooms and common areas. Very clean and cozy! Beds were super comfortable and they even provided a fan for these hot spring days. All the staff was very nice and attentive. Food was excellent too!

Loved the little touches!! Fresh brownies on arrival and a warm welcome from the Manager Jon on arrival. Beautiful products from Land & Water. Lovely fresh linen and a cozy room with delicious fresh coffee for the morning…fabulous breakfast options!! Brilliant restaurant & yummy food!

This grade II listed former coaching Inn provides bright, individually styled rooms, a traditional pub and relaxed restaurant. Really lovely place! We just wanted a room to crash in but it, was so pretty we were happy to come back from our party early! The staff were super friendly and could not do enough for us and the breakfast was totally amazing, I had a veggie breakfast with oat milk in my coffee..... I would definitely stay here again!
