We needed somewhere to stay to break a long journey and weren't expecting to find somewhere so friendly and with so much character. The room was very cosy, small yes, but functional with great care in its design.

Located in Netheravon and with Stonehenge reachable within 10 km, The Dog & Gun Inn provides a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Great little hotel with amazing, friendly staff. The rooms are quite large and comfy. We were welcomed with cookies and there was tea and coffee in the room. The shower and bath were so nice, quite modern and super clean. We checked in after exploring the little towns around Stonehenge and decided to stay in for dinner. We were silly and didn’t make a reservation, but they were kind enough to accommodate us. Make sure to book your table! We all had delicious pizzas, sides and wine, the most perfect ending to a day of exploring and getting lots of steps in! We were served by the most loveliest staff. Lisa, Amy and - apologies as I didn’t ask for her name- a dark haired lady were always professional, fun and friendly. Lisa took the time to explain to us how to get to Stonehenge easily. We only stayed for one night and left early to walk to Stonehenge, but took advantage of the breakfast and it was absolutely gorgeous. So many delicious options! What a great hotel! Very impressed with the facilities, staff and great food. If you had any doubts about booking, this is your sign to go ahead and confirm it. It will exceed your expectations as it did mine!

Located in Swallowcliffe, The Royal Oak features a garden and bar. This inn features free WiFi and on-site dining. Free private parking is available on site. The room was amazing, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom very clean and the best shower. The staff were incredible and the food was absolutely phenomenal.

Situated in Wilton, 5.4 km from Salisbury, Greyhound Inn Wilton boasts a terrace and views of the garden. It is 12.8 km to Stonehenge from the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and... Lovely clean and modern hotel room. The bathroom was brand new big and modern. The soaps and lotion smelled good. The restaurant downstairs was so good for dinner and breakfast. All of the staff were amazing. We didn’t use the outside garden cause it rained but lovely garden with 5 small huts to sit in with beautiful lights in the evening. Perfect parking right outside. The Wilton house was right close by where the Crown, Bridgerton, Black Adder and about 40 other tv series and movies have been filmed. Spent a whole day here. Guided tour of house is recommended. Buses run to Salisbury and only takes 15 min.

The Pear Tree Inn is situated just 20 minutes' drive away from Bath, less than 10 minutes' drive from the National Trust village of Lacock and the market town of Bradford on Avon. such a wonderful place to stay! it felt like home from home and felt so welcoming and homely! The food on offer was incredible and all the staff were attentive and highly customer focused We live very our room and we slept so well! very comfortable beds! We would 💯 stay again we loved it. Thanksl you to everyone for such a special stay!
