Very comfortable and in an annex to the pub so quiet in the evening even when the pub is busy. The breakfast was very nice and the staff welcoming. They always asked what time we want breakfast so it was fast and tasty.

Located 8 miles from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, The Carpenters Arms is in the tranquil and scenic hamlet of Stanton Wick, near the village of Pensford, in the heart of the Chew Valley... Dinner, room and breakfast were all excellent. Good communication with the establishment prior to arrival - eg recommendation for dinner reservation.

Just 10 miles from Bath and 14 miles from Bristol, Crown Inn at Tolldown offers stylish self-contained accommodation and a high-quality food menu. The staff was amazing, the bedroom was lovely and we couldn’t have asked for more. We would have loved to stay another night. Will stay here again if we come back.

Dating back to the 1600s, The Three Tuns is set overlooking Chepstow Castle. Our room was a little shabby, but knowing that this room was built 70 years after Henrik VIII chopped the heads of his wife s makes it understandable. So 10 points overall.

This historic inn offers great accommodation, excellent food, fine wines and real ales. The rooms and bathrooms at Bowl Inn have recently been refurbished, and all feature a Freeview TV. Friendly welcome, comfortable room and nice little touches like fresh milk.

Located less than 20 minutes' drive from Bristol, The Rising Sun offers free WiFi access and free private parking for all guests. Room with excellent style, clean and class. Friendly staff and felt very welcome. Slept very well in the comfy bed. Will come back here for sure when meeting my friends in nailsea again!

Located just outside Thornbury and within 5 km of Thornbury Castle, The Anchor Inn features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything, food was was excellent, staff were very friendly.

It is also close to the Bristol airport so its really convenient.
