Set in Compton Martin, 22 km from Ashton Court, The Ring 'O' Bells offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Very comfortable and in an annex to the pub so quiet in the evening even when the pub is busy. The breakfast was very nice and the staff welcoming. They always asked what time we want breakfast so it was fast and tasty.

Located 8 miles from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, The Carpenters Arms is in the tranquil and scenic hamlet of Stanton Wick, near the village of Pensford, in the heart of the Chew Valley... Quite room, fresh air, beautiful place, ideal for car travel, lots of iconic places around ( Stonehenge, Bath, etc.)

Dating back to the 1600s, The Three Tuns is set overlooking Chepstow Castle. Our room was a little shabby, but knowing that this room was built 70 years after Henrik VIII chopped the heads of his wife s makes it understandable. So 10 points overall.

This historic inn offers great accommodation, excellent food, fine wines and real ales. The rooms and bathrooms at Bowl Inn have recently been refurbished, and all feature a Freeview TV. All well above my expectations, run by really good young people, I would definitely stay again

It was by Shining Light after being in a Black Hole with Easy Jet ( unable to find a pilot!) what did I like everything but what I really loved was every member of staff went beyond to help me xxx❤️

It was a lovely surprise as it ticked all the boxes for charm, authentic pub feel, comfort, friendliness and good food. The bonus was to have a lovely walking path on the other side of the road!

Boasting a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, Plume of Feathers is situated in Blagdon, 20 km from Ashton Court and 22 km from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Super little pub located in a beautiful village. Owner was very friendly & cheerful. Breakfast was really good & plenty of it. Enjoyed our short stay.
