Seen in the Harry Potter films and used for training for the 1953 Everest Expedition, impressive Malham Cove is only 5 minutes’ walk away. The 900-year old Skipton Castle is located 25 minutes away by car, and you can catch the Settle-Carlisle steam railway 15 minutes’ drive away. Cyclists can make use of cycle storage and a drying room, and the hostel is located near to the scenic Pennine Way and Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way routes. Guests can also follow the nearby path along the stream to Janet’s Foss Waterfall.

    It’s a youth hostel with bunk bed dorms. Nice clean sheets with beds already made up . Decent showers too. No towels included. But you can hire . Small self catering kitchen is fine but tea, coffee and milk might be nice.
