A very modern hotel with lots of parking. Onsite restaurant. Clean rooms, and lots of space. We only stayed for one night as we were travelling, but it was good value for money. Highly recommend the turkey dinner, but if you’re seniors like us, buy one and split it. Good food.

Between Bronte Country and the Yorkshire Dales, Leeds is a stately city with a wealth of impressive Georgian and Victorian buildings. The most celebrated is the town hall, a historic gem with a huge clock tower supported by columns. Just around the corner is the understated Leeds Cathedral, and between the two is Millennium Square, a large urban space that plays host to outdoor concerts and a German Christmas market.
Shopping in Leeds is fantastic. Kirkgate Market is Europe’s largest covered market, and the magnificent, round Corn Exchange is home to exclusive boutiques. The city also has the first Harvey Nichols outside of London, as well as the usual high street brands.
As home to 2 large universities, Leeds has a young and vibrant vibe. It has repeatedly been voted the clubbing capital of the UK and is home to the Leeds Festival, an annual music event that attracts thousands.
The city also has excellent sporting pedigree. Internationals are held at Headingley cricket ground, and Leeds United FC and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league team are well-known names in their fields.
On the outskirts of the city are wonderful Roundhay Park, Kirkstall Abbey and Leeds-Bradford International Airport. Leeds accommodations on Booking.com covers all areas of this elegant city.
Been to Leeds before and we really like it. Stayed this time for Nick Cave's concert but stayed extra nights to have a break. Lots of great places to eat and drink. Some are national chains but there are plenty of independents. We had a fantastic night at The Domino Club, which was recommended to us by a waiter and the live music in a small venue was fantastic! Would go again to Leeds just for that! We stayed in Leeds for a few nights while we went to see Nick Cave at the Arena. We aren't interested in shopping so I can't comment on that. The Arena is not that great though. It had good air conditioning but nowhere pleasant to sit and have a drink. Just stand in a hall. And the prices for a drink were exorbitant.

I didn’t have enough time to explore the city properly but enjoyed what I did see. Unlike London, public transport doesn’t run for 24hrs so days have to be planned accordingly if using public transport. I didn’t enjoy the nightlife as I like a particular genre of music which wasn’t played at Backroom, the club I went to but I noticed that it was very busy and attracted a lot of young people.

Enjoyed a 2-night stay mainly for a show, but enjoyed a day wandering about town. I was surprised by the number of impressive buildings, and took in the Art Gallery which is well worth a visit for its tiling alone. Ended the day with a great curry at the Indian Pakwaan.

I always find Leeds people are so friendly and they really add to the beauty and charm of this beautiful city. Plenty of things to do and see and the bus service is fantastic and great value. The river taxi is great and such an interesting way to travel to the armoury museum from the city centre and back. Elland Road is electric on match days and an unique experience.

The Met Hotel Leeds was memorable.
Hotel was very clean & modern. The staff were very nice, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was plentyful and good choices available.
Decent size room & nice views from the 10th floor, which is only half way up the building. Great location for exploring Leeds City Centre.
Location is very convenient for Leeds city centre and being able to park in CitiPark right next door. Hotel and room were clean, and spacious. Basic amenities but expected with the price and rating.
