Wheelwrights Arms Country Inn & Pub is located in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe, surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys. The property is recommended by the Good Pub Guide and Michelin Guide. Please be advised that our pub is currently closed, undergoing a full refurbishment. We plan to re-open the pub in mid March 2025. We will open a small section of the pub for a continental breakfast to our guest house customers each morning. We can also recommend alternative local pubs for you to visit for your lunch/dinner. All accommodations types have free WiFi, a flat-screen Smart TV, tea/coffee making facilities, solid oak floors and Cotswolds views. Menus are changed regularly and include light lunches and a la carte selections. Local ingredients are used where possible. You can relax with a drink by the open fire or in the garden. The historic site of Bath city center is just a 5-minute drive away. Tickets can be arranged for all Bath rugby home games from September to May. There are 7 lovely walks within the Monkton Combe valley, and narrow boating can be enjoyed on the Kennet and Avon canal which is 1 mile away.
