The hotel is a grade 2 listed building which brings you back to the Victorian time. It is in the heart of Clifton, the most elegant part of the city. The rooms are very spacious and confortable. Nice looking hotel with parking close to Bristol. We booked last minute so there wasn't much choice but this was a good option. The room we had was large with a double and single bed in it. There was a kettle and tea making facilities.

We had an amazing breakfast with everything we could possibly want and exceptional service. I was completely charmed by the individual vegemite;) We stayed in Galatia on the second floor which was perfect and cozy with a luxurious private bath. The beautiful hotel and grounds, including landscape paintings by a local artist, set a relaxing tone for the start of our holiday. We were quite busy sightseeing so I wish we'd had the opportunity to spend more time on the property. Would highly recommend Berwick Lodge!

Loved being able to control everything from your phone
The hot and cold water stations in the hallway for drinks

And you can't go wrong with a rain shower and top quality toiletries
Mollies Diner across the road was great as well

Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol features Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the Avon River. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbor, where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.
Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I registered historic Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St. Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centers at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.
As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.
Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artist Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodations, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.
This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath rail line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.
Bristol is a wonderful city. I am planning to eventually relocate there and my recent trip definitely confirmed that i want to live there. So many shops, bars and restaurants to see and lots of things to do. You’ll never be bored!

Bristol is a vibrant university city with lots going on.
Bristol is a vibrant university city with lots going on.
It has good public transport links and is better seen on foot than by car.
My favourite places are Clifton and the Docks where you can find lots to do and a mixture of independent eating places reflecting the international cultures that port trade brings.
We often take a circular walking route that takes you up over the clifton suspension bridge, returning via Ashdown court and the docks. It's about 10km.

It's a busy university city.
It's a busy university city. Diverse cultures make for delicious dining options. Our favourite place was Caribbean Croft which has an amazing rum selection with knowledgeable staff. We were self-catering and there are several supermarkets in and around the city.
For drinks, we liked the craft beer venues of which there are few.
Clifton has a charm all of its own and you must see the bridge.
We planned the weekend around a visit to Chilli Farm in Upton Cheyney, a few miles outside the city.
If you have a car be aware of the congestion charges. The buses are frequent and reliable.

Excellent stay at The Berkeley Square Hotel. The location is great for exploring Bristol (close to Clifton, the city centre, Cabot Tower, etc). We stayed in the Deluxe Suite which was newly renovated - it really is a great suite and I'd heavily recommend it. Clean, modern, and a really comfy bed too. Nice treats on arrival were a great bonus too!
The hotel is in a great location right across from Cabot Circus in Bristol City Centre. The hotel feels modern and the staff were very welcoming. Even though the hotel was busy, it was easy to sleep and there were no late night/early morning disturbances which led to a great nights sleep.
Very convenient Hotel with easy access to & from the M5 & City Centre. Plenty of Restaurants & shops within Bradley Stoke. The staff were very friendly & courteous. Highly recommend this Hotel. Use it every time on my visit to Bristol.
Good parking facilities, bus stops to both Bristol city centre and Bath just outside the hotel. Spacious room ,comfy beds. The breakfast was buffet style, food plentiful and varied.
