I felt like I was at home. I’m a study abroad student who came here for my fall break. I had been so homesick, but this place made me forget I was away from home. I almost didn’t want to leave my room and explore the city!

Company info

Hello! We’re Ian and David - an Englishman and a Spaniard living in Scotland’s capital city. We started our bed and breakfast story in Spain where we ran a small boutique hotel in a colonial building in the quaint town of Sitges. We now own and run Castle Park Guest House in Edinburgh. We fell in love with this beautiful city while living in and visiting it at different points in our lives. We have a passion for Scotland, its traditions, its landscape and its people. We love Edinburgh for its cosmopolitan lifestyle and its cultural heartbeat. We want to help you discover the beauty and vibrancy of Scotland and Edinburgh from the comfort of our home – ‘mi casa es tu casa’.

Property info

Castle Park Guest House is a contemporary take on a traditional Edinburgh Victorian townhouse. A place where classic meets modern and where a homely feel gets a touch of elegance and luxury. Scottish culture and our own experiences when travelling have influenced the design of the guest rooms with stylish furnishings, soft fabrics and elegant finishes complementing the original features of the house. Modern comforts and a touch of history add to the warmth and personality of the rooms. Our aim is to create a friendly welcoming home away from home, where you can relax, unwind and enjoy all that Scotland’s capital city has to offer.

Neighborhood info

We're only a stone's throw away from the bustle of Edinburgh’s Old Town, where the drama of Scotland’s history can be felt in the cobbled streets, narrow alleys, medieval houses and church towers, and where the skyline is dominated by Edinburgh castle, perched on its ancient volcanic rock. Edinburgh offers superb sight-seeing, buildings and historic graveyards to explore, quiet galleries and museums, tranquil green spaces and scenic walks, thrilling new attractions, serious shopping, and a vast choice of restaurants, cafes, pubs and nightlife to suit all tastes. It’s also the ideal gateway from which to explore the breathtaking scenery and vibrant culture of the Scottish Highlands and Lowlands. Whether you're here for business, the Edinburgh Festivals in August, a weekend break, to eat and drink your way across town, or just passing through, we’re here for you.
