The room was clean. Helpful and friendly staff just an email or phone call away. In addition, my wallet, with all my cards in it, was stolen at Hong Kong airport last Sunday night as I waited to travel. The staff arranged to collect cash from me, which was very kind.

I live in Falkirk and rented this property for my daughter,...
I live in Falkirk and rented this property for my daughter, There are the newer attractions near by, Kelpies, Falkirk wheel etc yet the town stretches back through history for a few thousand years, 2000 years ago it was the northern most frontier of the Roman empire, The antonine wall is a World Heritage site and runs through the town. The resting place of William Wallace best friend is a little churchyard in the centre of town, where other leaders from "The battle of Falkirk" in 1298 are laid to rest and is a 15 minute journey from Stirling where the Wallace monument and Stirling castle are. For people wanting to see the cities, Falkirk is about equal distance from both Glasgow and Edinburgh with trains that run all day, public transport is great for getting around the main places, though a car would be needed to explore the not so main places that said, most of those are only an hour or two drive away from Falkirk so its a great place to plan a tour of Scotland, or a short term stay, you avoid the bigger tourist places and the bigger tourist prices but get the exact same experience.

Falkirk is a place without pretensions.
Falkirk is a place without pretensions. People are generally friendly and I like wandering around. The museum and gallery are great and so is Callendar Park. The stadium is terrific and would support a team in the top flight.

The Kelpies are a must to see both day & night.
We also ate at a few local restaurants…
Cafe Corvina (Italian)
Sanam (Indian)
Central Perk (British for breakfast)
We were also recommended the Tea house (Chinese) but didn’t have time to eat there due to a short stay.

The Falkirk Wheel & Kelpies is well worth a visit.
The Falkirk Wheel & Kelpies is well worth a visit.
The Boat Trip on the Wheel is good, however you can actually walk the boat route by footpath & it is actually better seeing it from the footpath as photo opportunities are better. The lighting in the Canal Tunnel is IMPRESSIVE.
The apartment is beautifully kept and very clean. The eye masks, ear plugs and chocolates on the bed are a lovely touch.
There was plenty parking both at the front and rear of the building.
There is a retail park just round the corner which is very handy. A20 minute walk takes you to the Kelpies and Helix park and it is only a short drive into the town centre or to the Falkirk wheel so ideal location for sightseeing
Great little hotel with excellent food & drink at a very good price. The staff are very polite & friendly. Will definitely use again if staying in the area.
