All the staff were very attentive, nothing was a bother. We were late arriving, the kitchen stayed open to allow us to have dinner, which was lovely as usual. great breakfast too.

Staff were fantastic and dealt with the issues we had swiftly.
Food was simple but tasty (3 course meal as part of a function and breakfast).
Overall good but fairly basic for a 4*.
We sadly didn't use the Spa facilities. These might and ramped up my opinion.
A lovely little town. Great for all ages. A lovely park by the river for a nice stroll. Great play park for the kids also and if you have dogs its good for them too. The shops are good too. Nice to do a bit of Christmas shopping, you can alway pick up something different here. The icecream shop is something else.

Top mountain biking nearby at Glentress and Traquair.

Peebles is a lovely small town with some lovely individual shops, cafes and restaurants. We especially liked the Gaucho steak restaurant which had recently opened (near the theatre). Cocoa Black serve the most fabulous cakes and coffee. Coltman's Kitchen was lovely, wished I had booked! We visited Dawyck Botanical Gardens for a lovely walk and enjoyed a light lunch in the cafe.

A lovely Borders town with great local shops and cafés.
A lovely Borders town with great local shops and cafés. A couple of good attractions and a perfect base for the Scottish countryside. Don't forget to explore the half-mile railway tunnel nearby as well as Neidpath Gorge and viaduct and castle. St Andrew's Tower in the cemetery is worth a look. The Cross Kirk is worth visiting and there are two great bookshops, one new and one second-hand.

Peebles is a small town.
Peebles is a small town. Lots of restaurants, pubs, shops on the main street and some just off the main street. Beautiful buildings, places of interest and a regular bus into Edinburgh if you chose to use it.
Peebles is easy to walk around.
Everyone was friendly, local people and tourists. We ate at "Prince of India' one night but then as the food was so good at the Tontine hotel, we ate there on our other nights.

Clean and friendly hotel at extremely reasonable rates right in the centre of Peebles.
For anyone exploring the Scottish Borders it’s perfect, especially for touring motorcycles as there is off street parking at the rear of the hotel where there is direct access to the rooms which is ideal.
Lovely apartment just off the High Street, but nice and quiet. Very comfortable with everything that you need for your stay. Lorna was very accommodating when I had to change my dates and communication was excellent. Would definitely stay again if we're back in Peebles 👌
Great Hotel, right on the Peebles High Street and convenient to other Town Centre Pubs, Restaurants and Shops. Also convenient for local Mountain Bike Trails in Glentress / Innerleithen Forests. Peebles is a beautiful wee Town...
location was perfect for exploring the Peebles area. Plenty of parking at hotel and welcoming reception. Pool , steam room and sauna to use, though it was busy with families so didn’t get much space to actually swim.
