Nagtatampok ang Finlay Jack's Backpackers ng perpektong lokasyon sa Taupo. Nag-aalok ang hostel ng single bed dormitories. The bed bunks are the best! very comfy mattress, lovely privacy curtain and enough space for your stuff. The stairs to te top bunks is big (block of wood) so not painful like most. The chill area in the middle was very nice, kitchen as big, the dog was cool and the staff is the best! I stayed here again on my way back for 4 nights and told all my travel friends to book here.

Lovely atmosphere, Ian is such a well-spirited host and he, the whole place and also the other guests were welcoming and relaxed. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Haka House Taupō is a vibrant hostel in central Taupō, located just moments away from the breathtaking Lake Taupō! Well facilitated and clean, spacious shared kitchen which is joint with a wonderful view terrace, the laundry room is on first floor. My room is cozy and comfy with a convenient lay-out of private bathroom. Nice staff and location. Great choice for solo travellers.

Based by the Lake is a 18+ hostel offering accommodation centrally located in Taupo, just minutes from the lake. Location was close to the lake, the food, the supermarket, everything. Amenities (kitchen and laundry) were clean and well thought out. Enjoyed the girls only dorm with the extra perk of a private balcony.
