Finlay Jack's Backpackers offers an ideal location in Taupo. The hostel offers single bed dormitory's. The bed bunks are the best! very comfy mattress, lovely privacy curtain and enough space for your stuff. The stairs to te top bunks is big (block of wood) so not painful like most. The chill area in the middle was very nice, kitchen as big, the dog was cool and the staff is the best! I stayed here again on my way back for 4 nights and told all my travel friends to book here.

My room is cozy and comfy with a convenient lay-out of private bathroom. Nice staff and location. Great choice for solo travellers.
