The area is popular for hiking, and bike hire is available at the hostel. The rooms were clean and quiet with comfortable beds. The view was SPECTACULAR!! The location is in Hanthana Mountain Range so i headed for an early morning hike which was amazing. The host was very friendly, we stayed for breakfast - a bargain at 2usd and it was so tasty! Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend this as a place to stay in Kandy, only 500rs in a TUK from Kandy town, so its easy to get to but far enough away to enjoy nature and the gorgeous surroundings.

At the hostel, every room has a desk and a balcony with a garden view. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and slippers, rooms at Barefoot Inn Kandy also provide guests with a mountain view. The units feature a safety deposit box. The host is very nice and welcoming. The building is new, rooms are spacious and very clean. This was also the most comfortable bed we have slept in in Sri Lanka. Great value for money.

The owner and the staff are very helpful and flexible. I like the place and I really wanted to spend a couple of more nights. but this time I didn't get enough time, I definitely came again.🙂

The shower was one of the very best we have had throughout our five weeks in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was very good.
