Host was amazing; Jude was the man. Very kind, sincere and helpful. Fun to be around! Hostel was gorgeous. Tranquil setting. A little outside of Kandy, but 10-15 min tuk tuk. Or walk down 700 meters to the clocktower and take a bus (on opposite side of the street) into town (50 Rupiah and super easy). Facilities were majestic. Shower and private room was bomb!

The view was SPECTACULAR!! The location is in Hanthana Mountain Range so i headed for an early morning hike which was amazing. The host was very friendly, we stayed for breakfast - a bargain at 2usd and it was so tasty! Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend this as a place to stay in Kandy, only 500rs in a TUK from Kandy town, so its easy to get to but far enough away to enjoy nature and the gorgeous surroundings.

Wonderful and generous owner. Such a great calm place to stay. The AC worked perfectly and the bed was so comfortable - best night sleep in Sri Lanka ! The place was really clean and I felt so safe.

First of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they are always to help you as much as possible. Breakfast is awesome and the portions were even too much for us. Rooms are clean and spacious and everything is really affordable. I highly recommend this stay!

White Rose Hostel is offering accommodation in Kandy. Around 500 metres from Bogambara Stadium, the property is also close to Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. White Rose Hostel is perfectly located close to the train/bus station and about a 15 minute walk to the lake. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the family who run the hostel are extremely friendly and helpful. They were also kind enough to let me leave my big bag at the hostel whilst I went on a 2 day hike in the Knuckles Reserve which I greatly appreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay in Kandy 🙏🏼
