Well set in Kandy, Funk Bunks - By The Lake provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. I LIKED EVERYTHING! The moment i stepped in the property, it was giving me good vibes. The room was clean, the bathroom was also clean because they clean everyday and cleanliness is what travelers appreciate. The bed was the most comfortable bed i had so far in sri lanka. I was able to sleep well. I didnt have any trouble sleeping at all. There was an AC, tv, mini fridge inside although it was plugged but i believe it was working. I just didnt use it. What you pay includes good breakfast and dinner so it was really worth it. The owners were lovely 🥹 thats the thing i love the most about this hostel. On my last day, they saw me working and offered me coffee. So sweet 💗 I only booked one night but ended up staying for 3 nights. What a great place to stay ♥️ THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING 🥰 I WISH TO GO BACK!

Situated in Kandy, 3.3 km from Ceylon Tea Museum, Miracle Trail Kandy features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The rooms were clean and quiet with comfortable beds. The view was SPECTACULAR!! The location is in Hanthana Mountain Range so i headed for an early morning hike which was amazing. The host was very friendly, we stayed for breakfast - a bargain at 2usd and it was so tasty! Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend this as a place to stay in Kandy, only 500rs in a TUK from Kandy town, so its easy to get to but far enough away to enjoy nature and the gorgeous surroundings.

The building is new, rooms are spacious and very clean. This was also the most comfortable bed we have slept in in Sri Lanka. Great value for money.

Incredible Sri Lankan breakfasts - the best food I've had on my trip. The hostel itself is great and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect escape from Kandy’s bustle. My bed was a very large single. What truly set this experience apart was Asanka he was an incredible host and immediately made you feel at home. He took me on a private tour of Kandy, revealing hidden gems I’d never have found on my own. His deep knowledge and genuine care made it unforgettable. If you’re seeking an authentic and memorable stay in Kandy, I couldn’t recommend this hostel and Asanka more. His kindness and attention to detail are unmatched.

The location of Bliss Hostel was beautiful, and tucked away from the loud city of Kandy, but easy to get to. The service provided my Jude, the manager was exceptional as he accommodated me while I was sick, cooked food for me, and provided great company. Were I a writer and had stayed longer then, I would’ve wrote a book about the man.

The owner Mr Nihal and Asoka very kind and friendly. This hotel is INCREDIBLE. The rooms are large and well-maintained.The staff was helpful, kind, and welcoming.We felt like family with the staff. The hospitality, cleanliness , hygiene and service was amazing. Overall good stay and value for money 😊👍🏻 This is my 4th visit. You guys will get good experience with Mr Nihal and Ashoka. Boasting a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Banana Bunks Kandy is situated in Kandy, 2.3 km from Kandy railway station and 2.6 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Wonderfully decorated and homey place. We had a private room with a bathroom and a private garden, which was really lovely. And the staff is super friendly and helpful and prepares some great sri Lankan food. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

Featuring a shared lounge, White Rose Hostel is set in the centre of Kandy, less than 1 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Staff is wonderful. Super helpful—gave me free tea and biscuits so many times and also just very fun to talk to. Bathrooms and the whole hostel are very clean. Great rooftop terrace!
