The hosts Dominique and Daniel are very warm, welcoming and friendly, that are happy to provide you with any tips you need. We had a great time enjoying the Highland games and the stunning nature that surrounds Ballater!

The place is magical. The hostel is well equiped you can get a towl for free even (not in other hostels). The manager is kind and easy going. You have nice beach straight under the hostel. It's cozy so there is nice environment to meet with the other visitors.

Hostel was clean, host was so helpful and friendly. I'm so glad that I booked here. Hostel is right infront of the sea so you can listen to the sound of wave at night. Bus stop is about 2 minutes far so easy to go to other side of the island. Also you can find out some useful items that other guests left at the corner of kitchen too. I'll be sure to visit here again. Already missing there!

The kitchen is absolutely perfect with everything you could need. The hostel is only 3 months old and purpose built as a bunkhouse/hostel.
