This establishment is truly delightful! The owner is exceptionally accommodating, and it's evident that she has invested considerable effort and attention into both the establishment and the guests. Small hostel with the family living on premise. They were very kind and accommodating. Everything was kept very clean. Excellent wifi. A good portion of San Jose is a little dangerous these days but this neighhborhood felt quite safe. It has quite a few restaurants (and a good gym) within walking distance but lacks a nearby laundry service and not offered by the hostel. Something to ponder if you plan on staying longer. Bed was comfortable.

Clean and tidy. The private room had a comfortable bed. There are roll down blinds for privacy and to keep the sun out. The fan provides good air movement. The other travelers I spoke with were interesting. Independent traveling women with ages ranging from 20 to 50s. It was fun to share stories.

For the price i paid i have to give 10 points. It has everything you need and gets cleaned every day. Family that runs the business is also living there so it felt more like a homestay than a hostel. Not many travellers while i was there, which i liked. Wifi worked perfectly. Neighborhood is full of fancy restaurants and for those on a budget there is a walmart in 20 min walking distance.
