We loved everything about Ings' homestay. The historical building is marvelous, the staircase so beautiful and the room decorated with much care and love. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the amenities of high quality. The location is unbeatable, right in the center, less than 10 min away from the hustle and bustle and night markets. Ing is the most caring and sweetest host we have ever met, she gave us so many recommendations and took the best care of us when we were late for our bus to Trang. We loved how tasteful the hotel is decorated, it is like you live in a museum. Danny is a very kind host and also very helpful. We loved to have our roti in the unique garden. Try the hot Thai tea ( Chaa Thai Ron) from the friendly lady in the kitchen, so yummy. The room has a refrigerator, kettle and even a hairdryer. The windows have mosquito nets which is great , we slept with open windows and enjoyed the breeze from the lake.

We had had a car accident after driving from Penang to our first place to stay, which was this one. Needed a lot of comfort and rest and this was the perfect place. The host and hostess were so sweet and had anything we needed, there is a river cafe 20 yards from the house, a private jetty which they use for their planting in the river which runs to the sea, a garden and we had a two storey house to ourselves and 3 cats and after travelling for 12 hours, was SO appreciated. We should have booked longer than one night and hope to stay there again.

We made a last minute stop in Pendang Besar as customs were closed. The homestay did not disappoint, the room was large and the beds are the softest we have had so far in Asia. There was water tea and coffee and snacks available Crisp clean bedding and towels, great air con and wifi.. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We were stuck at the train station late at night with our two children (couldn't get a grab or a taxi) and they organised a taxi to collect us and he brought us back the next morning.
