She helped me with an early check in, she also helped me to book a bus and took me in her motorcicle so I don’t miss it. The environment there is just incredible with foreign and local people. I was even invited to an awesome birthday party. I wish I stayed longer there. Best place ever.

We made a last minute stop in Pendang Besar as customs were closed. The homestay did not disappoint, the room was large and the beds are the softest we have had so far in Asia. There was water tea and coffee and snacks available Crisp clean bedding and towels, great air con and wifi.. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We were stuck at the train station late at night with our two children (couldn't get a grab or a taxi) and they organised a taxi to collect us and he brought us back the next morning.
