The host and hostess were so sweet and had anything we needed, there is a river cafe 20 yards from the house, a private jetty which they use for their planting in the river which runs to the sea, a garden and we had a two storey house to ourselves and 3 cats and after travelling for 12 hours, was SO appreciated. We should have booked longer than one night and hope to stay there again.

We made a last minute stop in Pendang Besar as customs were closed. The homestay did not disappoint, the room was large and the beds are the softest we have had so far in Asia. There was water tea and coffee and snacks available Crisp clean bedding and towels, great air con and wifi.. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We were stuck at the train station late at night with our two children (couldn't get a grab or a taxi) and they organised a taxi to collect us and he brought us back the next morning.

Close to 7E, 7 minutes to Asean Night Market and Central Festival. Very strategic place.
