We took a shower in cold water because we were afraid to turn on the water heater (the exposed power cables were on the shower head). Nevertheless, I recommend it.

The homestay was comfortable, and the dinner we organised through him (cooked by his sister) was delicious, and one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka.

The bathroom is spacious, beautiful tiles and nice hot water! The staff is extremely attentive and polite. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, welcome and enjoy our stay. We got coffee, tea and cookies upon arrival, carried our bags to our room, complimentary fruit platters and more! During our two night stay, the country was going through a fuel crisis, and the owner personally managed his way to help us top up our fuel tank and drove our rental car himself to do it late at night. We can't be anymore happier than we are. Definitely stay at this place!!!

A car rental service is available at the homestay. The owner "aunty," was so hospitable, and her son was also very kind. Their room was very cozy and comfortable. We immensely enjoyed their homemade food, especially the kiribath (milk rice) and sambal , which were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this place for its warm hospitality and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.
