I can really recommend this place! I stayed in a super nice and extremely clean room with a balcony and beautiful view of the hills. Big bathroom with hot water shower. The staff was very helpful and helped me arrange a tuktuk to go to Adams Peak at night. I have nothing to complain about!

We stayed 1 night so we can climb Adam’s peak…. It was a big mistake to stay here due to the long drive to the starting point.

The place advertised as a VILLA… but it is far from being the vila we know…
This place allocate on the top of the hill, far from everything and need a transport to get to town and back. The VILA is actually one level in the middle of a 5 story building, 2 bedrooms and a sitting area .
Other guest rooms allocated upstairs and downstairs… so as you can understand, it is not a VILA …
Villa means a free standing house all to your self with a garden….
Keep in mind that you staying in the middle part of a building!

The guest house is situated in a calm part of the town, not far away from the train station. I had the room on the first floor, it was bright, cozy and clean. There was also a kind of balcony. I appreciated to have a kettle and some tea in the living room on the ground floor. The accommodation came with breakfast and dinner that was served in the owner's other guest house - a nice opportunity to chat with other travellers. The owner and his family were very nice and welcoming. They arranged a tuk tuk driver who drove me to Adam's Peak for sun rise, he was also super nice.

Everything was the best! Perfect, nice and clean accommodation with wonderfull view to garden full of flowers and to nice landscape. You can eat and rest on the balcony. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious and big. Owners of homestay are nice, kind and polite people. If you have to decide where to stay, this is really the best place in Sri Lanka.
We stayed for three nights at trinish homestay and absolutely loved it! The owner is super friendly and so helpful. He picked us up from the train station and had dinner ready for us. The food was amazing. He took us to Adam’s Peak / Sri Padaya and waited there for us while we were hiking for 5 hours. The room is a bit old and damp but would 10 out of 10 recommend 😍
My friend and I are really grateful to have met this lovely family and to have stayed in their beautiful home! If it was possible, we would rate this homestay 1000/10. The rooms are clean and offer a stunning view. Further all the facilities are super good & the owner even organised a scooter for us.
However, nothing tops the generous breakfast! We also highly recommend to eat dinner at this homestay, it has been the best we‘ve eaten so far in Sri Lanka.

Mount View Bungalow is a nice place to stay if you travel across Hatton area, specially to Adam's Peak. Very close to the Hatton town centre. Place was very clean and organized. Rishad, the owner was very friendly and supportive and will definitely help with anything you needed - meals, parking, locations etc. Highly recommended for both locals and foreigners who expect a great customer service.
Saman and Semila were great hosts!
The location is very convenient- you could walk to the tea plantations within minutes and Saman arranged a TukTuk for us to do part of the Pekoe trail.
We got tea and cookies when we arrived and the breakfast (with a beautiful view and sunrise from the terrace) and dinner were just amazing!
A real highlight of our trip. We loved staying with Saman and his family in this beautiful Homestay surrounded by tea fields. The best food in all of Sri Lanka too!
