We have never met a more friendly couple then Saman and Samila. Initially we Booked for two nights and in the end we stayed there for seven nights. They want to please you in every possible way. Saman has an intensive knowledge of touristic hotspots not only from the area where he is in but also from other parts of SL. He is an excellent driver and has many suggestions to drive you from here to there. Samilla is a fantastic cook which is doing everything she can to please you. She prepares authentic SL meals and she has a long list of meals where you can choose from. Her meals are well balanced. Both Saman and Samila are kind and easy going. So we highly recommend Princess of Dickoya. When we are back in SL we certainly will visit their homestay again.

Excellent location near the railway station. Very nice villa with a couple of rooms and very nice shared areas. All very clean and furnished in a beautiful way. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He arranged for us a car to the bottom of the Adam’s mountain. We enjoyed staying here very much and would be happy to come back again.

We spent two fantastic days with Dhammika and his beautiful family who made us feel so welcome. Nestled among the sprawling tea plantations on the edge of the reservoir, the villa was simple but very comfortable, with a lovely view of the rolling green hills. Throughout our stay, Dhammika was a massive help, even driving us to the foot of Adam’s Peak in his tuk tuk at 1:30am and then showing us the various waterfalls and tea factories. He was a fount of local knowledge, and the breakfasts and dinners prepared by his wife and mother-in-law were delicious! Thank you, Dhammika!

The Guest house has been the most beautiful and cleanest accommodation we have had in Sri Lanka. The mountain and small lake view from the balcony is breathtaking and so cozy . The delicious breakfast was served to us on the balcony and you can enjoy the view and nature during the meal.
The location is also quite good, 5 min walking distance to maskeliya town and best stop before adam's peak hiking and visit waterfalls around.
The host Namal was very friendly and organised a driver for us to the next stop. And dinner is very tasty and so good .Thank you so much for everything .

Everything was the best! Perfect, nice and clean accommodation with wonderfull view to garden full of flowers and to nice landscape. You can eat and rest on the balcony. The breakfast and dinner were really delicious and big. Owners of homestay are nice, kind and polite people. If you have to decide where to stay, this is really the best place in Sri Lanka.
We stayed for three nights at trinish homestay and absolutely loved it! The owner is super friendly and so helpful. He picked us up from the train station and had dinner ready for us. The food was amazing. He took us to Adam’s Peak / Sri Padaya and waited there for us while we were hiking for 5 hours. The room is a bit old and damp but would 10 out of 10 recommend 😍
My friend and I are really grateful to have met this lovely family and to have stayed in their beautiful home! If it was possible, we would rate this homestay 1000/10. The rooms are clean and offer a stunning view. Further all the facilities are super good & the owner even organised a scooter for us.
However, nothing tops the generous breakfast! We also highly recommend to eat dinner at this homestay, it has been the best we‘ve eaten so far in Sri Lanka.

Mount View Bungalow is a nice place to stay if you travel across Hatton area, specially to Adam's Peak. Very close to the Hatton town centre. Place was very clean and organized. Rishad, the owner was very friendly and supportive and will definitely help with anything you needed - meals, parking, locations etc. Highly recommended for both locals and foreigners who expect a great customer service.
Saman and Semila were great hosts!
The location is very convenient- you could walk to the tea plantations within minutes and Saman arranged a TukTuk for us to do part of the Pekoe trail.
We got tea and cookies when we arrived and the breakfast (with a beautiful view and sunrise from the terrace) and dinner were just amazing!
