The host and his family were so kind and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. When we arrived they served us tea and coffee. The property is really beautifully located. You’re about a 15 minute walk from a waterfall and can wander around little country roads, while only being a 6 minute tuk tuk ride from the down town area and the Pedro tea factory. Also the bed was so comfy!! Would highly recommend

Clean simple rooms and an excellent location. The host is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had via text. I can’t imagine a better location. We were able to walk to dinner at the Grand hotel in about 5 mins and the view from the outdoor seating area was excellent!

We had a great stay! The room was very comfortable and clean. We had breakfast and dinner there and both were delicious and filling. The hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.

Offering a garden and city view, 20/20 wood cabana is located in Nuwara Eliya, 4 km from Gregory Lake and 11 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Very cool house, they have the cutest grey cat which was playful yet fiesty. Mr Araa was so helpful and gave plans for us for the waterfall, horse riding by the lake, help with the train ticket booking and dinner suggestion. We got the huge room. Awesome stay with breakfast, surrounded by beautiful garden plants.

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. Chithra, Wasantha, and their darling son Rashi are very special people. The home is infused with their love and joy. If you are accustomed to staying in swank hotels do not be put off by the basic furnishing. The bed is extremely comfortable with cozy blankets, the view is spectacular, the place is spotless and the shower is warm (a rarity in Sri Lanka). The bedding smelled like soap and sunshine. Chithra and Wasantha were professional cleaners in Dubai. — Don’t miss Chithra’s dinners. She’s one of the best cooks I’ve ever met. Everyone tells her she should write a cookbook - and she should. When the tuktuk wound up the steep hill to drop me off at their home at the top, it seemed far away from town. It’s not!!! Chithra showed me a shortcut. It’s an easy path down to the town and back up. It’s not as steep as it looks. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to town and maybe a 15 minute walk back up. I enjoyed getting to know Chithra and family so I engaged them but I was the one who had to initiate that. The family’s default is to leave guests alone. Wasantha was going to take me on a couple hikes in the woods but it rained heavily so I skipped it. I would like to do it next time. I really cannot praise this place enough. I fell in love with this pure hearted family, slept better than I have in a long time, and relished Chithra’s delicious meals. I look forward to returning with friends and family. Five stars all around for this special place.
