Chaminda made us coffee on arrival, gave us umbrellas as the weather was bad and made many recommendations for our trip in Sri Lanka. He also arranged our transport to the train station and provided a fantastic breakfast before we left. So generous! Could not have asked for a better host.

If you’re coming to Nuwara Eliya with visions of old world charm this is the place for you. We loved our huge bedroom, it was perfect for a family of four. The decor and building design are gorgeous. The home is spotlessly clean. The hosts were very kind. The food delicious and fresh, the free breakfast was outstanding. It is a bit out of the town centre but this was a positive in our eyes. Easy walk into town or tuk tuk is cheap. Really recommend this place.

The host is very helpful, he explains the trip u can do and charge in reasonable price of course. I did tea factory and waterfalls tour and it was great. 1 night in nuwara eliya is not enough to see all the good things u must visit

Offering a garden and garden view, RC AWKWARD is situated in Nuwara Eliya, 1.5 km from Gregory Lake and 5.5 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. This guest house provides a shared lounge. Very friendly and nice people. We liked a lot. Tasty and big breakfast. The owner supported a lot with some issues we had. We recomend it 100%. In addition he is building a new house which so far looks amazing!!

Malinder was simply the best. He was helpful and kind and so thoughtful. Made us the best breakfast and a delightful mushroom soup on our first night when we were too tired to venture out. He anticipated our needs, and was very quick to problem solve. He also shared with us some incredible recommendations for food and sightseeing. the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. the views were spectacular. I absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.
