Located in Kyoto and within 500 metres of Sanjusangen-do Temple, Kyo-Anthu Inn features a garden, soundproof rooms, and free WiFi. I’m lucky to have the opportunity to live in this lovely house for one night. The host told me that I got the room just because of someone’s cancellation. The glass door at the entrance was so clean that I hit my head against the door. Be careful :) The host family gave us as much convenience as possible : offering us mocha and cookies, helping carry/store the luggage, supporting alipay while my credit card was invalid on the pos machine. The room was clean and well appointed, even an air humidifier was provided. Check-out: the host took photos of us, kindly requested me to stick the dot sticker at the location of my hometown on a world map, which I think are quite meaningful and memorable. The host, she is the best ever. she drove me to Kyoto station after knowing that I would leave Kyoto for Osaka. Noticing that my cellphone was left on the counter, her dad came and brought it straight away. The last night in Kyoto left me with good memories thanks to them.

Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. The house is near Kyoto station and bus stops. The room was clean, comfortable and very convenient. The host and the staffs are are so kindness and helpful. A male staff drove us to the Kyoto Station when all taxies were unavailable and another female wrapped our paper bag by plastic bag because it was raining. I highly appreciate these people this place, and will continue to stay here when I come back to Kyoto.

Set in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station and 1.5 km from the centre, Woman Only Guesthouse Nanohana (Female only) offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a shared lounge. My 13 year old daughter and I stayed in a double room for 3 nights while we explored Kyoto. We both felt at home immediately. The common space was welcoming and enjoyable to hang out in, our beds were comfortable, and the shared bathroom and shower were clean and comfortable. I’m not sure if it’s always this way, but the other guests were quiet and polite and respectful. Wish we could have stayed here longer!

The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well

4 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, Guesthouse Kyoto Arashiyama is located in Kyoto and provides free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The owner was very welcoming and really nice, the room was very clean and organized, the futon was decently comfortable and the location was fantastic. The stay was great!

Gallery Nozawa Inn offers accommodation in Kyoto, 25 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Every room includes a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Nozawa Inn is my favourite stay in my entire trip, I wished I had stayed here for the whole holiday. Yoshiko San and Morio San are not staff, they are hosts and they treat guests like family! They are such a lovely couple who went out of their way to make me comfortable every day... From helping me plan my daily trips, washing my clothes, driving me to the station, introducing me to their friends, giving me daily treats and tea, beer and sake, telling me stories, lending me books (she used to be an editor so there's lots of them!) and making recommendations for food and onsen (just go wherever they send you, it will be great), they made my stay in Kyoto the best time ever! Oh yes, breakfast each day is different, plentiful and really good and tasty. The rooms are a good size and have all the facilities you would expect and more. The toilet in the room is clean and you get fresh towels each day. The shower is shared but there's only 2 rooms in the house so this isn't a problem, and it's clean and the water is warm... it doesn't matter anyway as the onsen around the corner is brilliant and open until 10pm. The location is perfect, in a nice, quiet and pretty part of town with a train station 6 mins away. There's a blowfish restaurant opposite if you want too, and a nice sweet shop as well, who make nice sweet rice balls fresh. The house is over 100 years old and feels so special, with wooden beams and screens, and a cute garden where you can smoke if you need... Fun fact - the house was designed by the uncle of the famous Sumo wrestler Takakeisho (look him up, he's going to be Yokozuna one day) and they are both sumo fans!

Objekt Gionkoh nalazi se u Kyotu, na 800 metara od hrama Kiyomizu-dera i 1,1 km od kazališta Samurai Kembu. Objekt obuhvaća zajedničku kuhinju i dvorište. The most unique and beautiful place, very well located, and Hiro was super kind and welcoming. This house could be worth the trip to Kyoto alone!
